Two meetings in Japan on Friday with racing from Ohi (Tokyo City Keiba) and Kasamatsu. We've done the form and picked out our best bets across the day.

Ohi (Tokyo City Keiba) Race 9- #9 Corin Judge

This winning machine should just notch up another 1 in the picket fence here, having won his past five starts, all at this track and distance and all at fairly reasonable prices given his record. The shortest he's started in his winning streak is $1.60, with an average price of $1.98. I'm expecting a similar price here and he just keeps getting the job done. This does look a slightly tougher test with #3 The King rating highly in his first up win and #1 Sun Beast racing well but it really should just be Corin Judge winning again and rewarding punters who have stuck with him.

Ohi (Tokyo City Keiba) Race 12- #1 Mizuiro Kikyo

Keen on this horse to break through third up having run well at two runs this time in, especially first up when running on well for second. He regressed second up but with consistent ratings last time in he looks a good chance of bouncing back to near his best and that should be good enough to win this. He started $4.60 last start and $3.70 first up so we should get a decent price and he should get a nice run tailing the speed. Outside of him the race looks very open with a few horses struggling for form and all things being equal Mizuiro Kikyo should be taking care of them.

Kasamatsu Race 7- #1 Key Jupiter

Handy little race at Kasamatsu with a few horses racing in very good form and Key Jupiter just looks the one to beat having won well at Nagoya over 1500m last start which is the best last start rating of anything in this field. He started $1.40 there but there are a couple of others in this field coming off short starting prices so we should get black odds about him. Back to 1400m looks the slight query but he's remarkably consistent when changing distances and his last run at 1400m at Sonoda only seven months ago was actually his peak career rating.
