Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1000M) Allowance / KRW 60 Million

Picture: Korea Racing Authority

Juvenile maidens to begin with and six of the eleven will race for the first time. (11) YONGHOJIMA is set to be a warm favourite. Following a promising trial, the Take Charge Indy colt ran 2nd on debut over this distance on a fast time, settling midfield and running on. The draw is not ideal, but it shouldn't matter. The optimistically named (10) QUEEN OF RACING ran a useful enough 5th on debut at this distance in a fair time from the same wide gate she draws today. (2) FOREVER DREAM has improved across two starts so far, running a fair time when 5th over this distance at his latest. He draws nicely again here and shouldn't be discounted. Among the first-time starters, (6) MABAWI looks the pick. The Rock Hard Ten colt was a front-running 2nd in his October trial in a good time and from a nice central draw can go well first-up. (8) BEAT UP another first-timer with claims.

Selections (11) Yonghojima (10) Queen Of Racing (2) Forever Dream (6) Mabawi

Busan Race 1: Class 6 (1000M) Allowance / KRW 60 Million

Juvenile maidens with five of the ten racing for the first time. However, it's hard to look past (4) I WILL BE FREE. He ran a close 2nd on debut in a fast race over 1000M on October 15th, settling midfield and running on strong. He shouldn't need to improve on that performance much, if at all, in order to win here. (6) FUNNY LIFE has a 4th and a 3rd in two starts so far, both in fair times at this distance. She is likely to be on pace here and should be involved at the business end of the race. So too should (10) YEONGCHEON SOLE MIO, who ran 5th to Funny Life's 3rd when they race each other at this distance on October 17th. Were it not for the widest gate, he may even have been favoured to overturn that form. Among the first timers, (3) ILNYEOM CHEONHA ran a decent 2nd, running on well and can be considered first-up. (5) VICTORY NINE, who benefits from an apprentice claim this time, is another in the hunt.

Selections (4) I Will Be Free (6) Funny Life (10) Yeongcheon Sole Mio (3) Ilnyeom Cheonha

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1200M) Allowance / KRW 25 Million

Maiden fillies here. (6) SISEON JUMA comes back in trip after a run over 1300M when from a wide draw, she was slow away and ultimately ended 6th. We'll go on her previous showings at this distance though, including a 2nd place in a good time. With a good gate today – or at least better than last start – she has claims. Likely favourite is (1) SWEET CAMP. Two starts back she came close to making all over this distance, ending in 2nd and then from a handy position ran 3rd at her latest try. From the inside gate she will on pace early and has every chance of leading all the way. (10) BOOSTER ROCKET comes in off an improved 2nd place over 1300M at her last start in September. She's had ten weeks off since then, but the wide draw shouldn't be of concern, and she can go close again. (3) SILVER STAR and the first-up (7) DELPHINI are other minor money hopes.

Selections (6) Siseon Juma (1) Sweet Camp (10) Booster Rocket (3) Silver Star

Busan Race 2: Class 6 (1200M) Allowance / KRW 25 Million

A big field for this standard maiden. Only three of them have a runner-up finish to their name and we'll side with (1) DROMOS to take full advantage of her inside gate to lead early and all the way. She comes in following 2nd place at this distance on October 22nd, her third career start, and with a touch of natural improvement, she can win. (10) BLUE SKY ran 3rd on debut at this distance on October 10th, beating a couple of todays rivals in the process. She had previously shown consistency in a couple of trials and can make progress here. (14) ADELE BOSS is down no favours at all by the draw, he has a very nice turn of foot about him. With a 2nd and a 3rd in his latest two, both at 1000M. He steps up in trip for the first time and if the gates were reversed between hm and Dromos, so might the top picks. (4) WONDERFUL SMARTY is yet to finish in the top two in sixteen attempts but has plenty of minor money finishes in races like this, while (2) SPRING FIRE is another who shouldn't be too far back

Selections (1) Dromos (10) Blue Sky (14) Adele Boss (4) Wonderful Smarty

Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1400M) Allowance / KRW 25 Million

We're set to have a warm favourite here in the shape of (3) WONDERFUL NIKIYA. She is yet to win in thirteen attempts but has the fastest time of any of these at the distance and comes in after a solid 3rd place on October 23rd when she was handy to the pace throughout. This is arguably a weaker race and from a great draw she can get to the lead right away and she can win. (4) BROWN CHARM has mixed his form across three starts so far but he comes up in trip here at it may well suit. Punters will certainly be alert to Moon Se-young's presence aboard. (5) CURRERECUS has been consistent, if not exactly quick, across ten starts today and that consistency may see him to another place finish today, while (8) M J STORM and (2) HELLO GEUMSEONG are others in the hunt.

Selections (3) Wonderful Nikiya (4) Brown Charm (5) Currerecus (8) M J Storm

Busan Race 3: Class 6 (1400M) Allowance / KRW 25 Million

She is yet to win but (9) CHEONGHO LEADER has five top-five finishes from eight starts so far as well as the fastest time of any of these at the distance by some margin. She beat a couple of these on her way to 3rd place at her latest start on October 29th and has proven versatile in running well when on pace or from behind. She is favoured here. (6) YEONSEUNG BRAVO is a clear second pick. He ran 5th behind Cheongho Leader two starts back before leading until the home straight over a mile in his latest outing. He will run on here and can be dangerous. (3) MONEY BAG has mixed his form across his eight starts so far but he is by no means alone in that. On his day he has some talent, and he has a great draw here. (7) BEST HAMSEONG has a 4th and a 5th from two starts so far, both at 1200M. He is expected to be on the pace here and can be involved for a long way. (8) EDGE has just raced the once and could be the wildcard.

Selections (9) Cheongho Leader (6) Yeonseung Bravo (3) Money Bag (7) Best Hamseong

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

Competitive race here. (1) LUCKY APPEAL was a winner at this distance at class 6 level two starts back before coming from well off the pace to dead heat for 3rd on his first try at this class on October 23rd. He has tended to get a bit far back in his races, but the inside gate should give his jockey some options and while his running style does mean he may need a bit of luck, he can win. (4) M J BEST comes back up to this trip for the first time since January. He has come on plenty since then and has been running very consistent times over 1300M at this class. He too can get a bit far back, but he has claims here. If you prefer front-runners then despite the wide draw, (10) WINNER IS WELL may be the way to go. He is racing for the first time since May but looked well when trialing two weeks ago and could be a winner first-up today. (12) REAL PACK draws the car park and comes up in class but posted a good time when 2nd at this distance at his latest start and can measure up here. (9) MAD BLADE can have a line drawn through his latest and is worth another chance here.

Selections (1) Lucky Appeal (4) M J Best (10) Winner Is Well (12) Real Pack

Busan Race 4: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

Fillies (and one mare) only. (1) UNJU SESANG comes in having beaten a few of these on her way to 2nd place over class and distance on October 24th. She comes up 2.5kg in the weights, but that's balanced by a much better draw, and she has every chance of scoring again. (4) ADELE ROSARIO is yet to win a race but looks to have plenty of potential. She ran 2nd in a valuable Juvenile race on her second start in September before running well for another runner-up finish at 1400M. She was a touch disappointing at her latest start, but she seems to be still learning. If she gets to an early lead here, she may take some beating. (9) MILLION BANK comes up in class after a win at this distance on October 22nd, when she came from off the pace to score well. She has a great finish on her and should measure up at this level. (10) STORM TO WIN and (8) D'LOVELY QUEEN among others in at least the placing frame.

Selections (1) Unju Sesang (4) Adele Rosario (9) Million Bank (10) Storm To Win
Next Best 8, 3
Fast Start 8, 4, 11, 12

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(2) JANGSAN GUARD is yet to win in seven attempts but has three runner-up finishes including at his latest start when he got forward from gate ten and was just off the lead the entire way around. He comes up slightly in the weights but draws much better and today could be his day. (10) GWANGYANG EUTTEUM needs a line drawn through his latest when he used up plenty getting to the lead from the widest gate and faded late on. He does have the fastest time among these for the distance though and while the draw once more does him no favours, he can be given another chance here. (8) RULES CLASS comes into the calculations having beaten a couple of these on his way to 3rd place at class and distance on November 3rd. (6) P N S SU made all to win on debut over 1000M on October 9th. She comes up in class here but looks very nicely in and from a good draw can get on pace again and be competitive. So too (9) TRIPLE RUN, also up in class having made all at start two in a fast time over 1000M.

Selections (2) Jangsan Guard (10) Gwangyang Eutteum (8) Rules Class (6) P N S Su
Next Best 9, 1

Busan Race 5: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

Fillies (and one mare) only here. (2) MY BABY GIRL put in a good performance when 2nd against the boys at this class and distance on October 31st, running on pace throughout. Back in restricted company today, she looks well in and from a nice draw has a chance. Probable favourite is (1) GOOD TANK and she can have her latest effort disregarded as it was the Luna Stakes a race in which she never got going. She has some fair form at 1400Mand from the inside gate, she should be prominent from the start. (3) SAGARMATHA has never finished worse than 3rd in seven starts so far, a record she can maintain today. All of those runs have been at 1200M so she comes up in trip for the first time, but she draws well and carries a nice light weight so should be in the hunt. (8) YEOWANGUI MISO is worth some thought on her last start win over 1600M at this class when she settled well back in the field and then ran on. She comes up a couple of kilos as a result but is still very much in this. (10) CHEONNYEONUI QUEEN perhaps best of the rest.

Selections (2) My Baby Girl (1) Good Tank (3) Sagarmatha (8) Yeowangui Miso

Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

Tricky sprint. Without a huge amount of confidence, we'll go for (10) BEST CHEONSANG, who comes in off two fair performances at class and distance, running 2nd and 3rd from similarly wide gates as today. She has the joint-fastest time of any of these at the distance and while she may need a touch of luck, she can win. (5) MAGIC GRACE comes up in class and distance after an all the way score over 1000M at start number two on October 23rd. She draws well here and has every chance of winning again. (2) MY WIN returns to action five months after lading his second consecutive win. That took his record to two wins from three starts and from a nice draw he can have aspirations of repeating first-up. He didn't exactly catch the eye when trialing in late October but hopefully he has come on for that and this isn't a tough race to return in. (3) STELLA ROAD comes up in class despite being winless but can measure up in this company. (7) IMUGI had a hard time on his first try at this level last start but is worth another go, especially with Moon Se-young climbing aboard.

Selections (10) Best Cheonsang (5) Magic Grace (2) My Win (3) Stella Road

Busan Race 6: Class Open (1600M) "Busan Owners' Association Chairman's Trophy" (KOR G3) Allowance / KRW 350 Million

Wildly competitive race with a case to be made for almost every runner. We'll take a chance on the up and comer (1) SUCCESS MACHO. He's five for five so far up to 1800M. He has never raced at a mile and nor has he raced in such elite company before, but he has bags of potential and from the inside gate, he could pull it off. (11) BLUE CHIPPER was an 1800M two starts ago carrying 60kg. Disregard his latest run over a now for him unsuitable 1200M at Seoul, today's mile should be a better fit and the quality is still there. (14) YEONGUNG LOUIS is an unknown at 1600M, but his sire won up to 1800M. Last start he stamped his class with a close 3rd in the SBS Sports Sprint when wide. He has that challenge again from the outside gate, but he is another on the way up. (12) DOCTOR CARSON will probably start as favourite due to his exploits beating Blue Chipper on a regular basis earlier this year. The mile is a slight question though, as are the level weights in this company. (5) KING OF GLORY comes into this race with solid 1800M form, and he has also won in tough company over a mile. He has a nice drawand should be on pace and in this a long way.

Selections (1) Success Macho (11) Blue Chipper (14) Yeongung Louis (12) Doctor Carson

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(11) KING ACE returned from an almost nine-month absence to run a very good 4th first-up over class and distance on October 17th when settling back and running on well in what was a tight finish. He continues under a light weight today and has every chance of returning to the winner's circle. (1) GREAT THUNDER comes up in class having won two of his last three, both at 1200M. He stretches out to 1400M for the first time today, but he has proven adaptable in his running style so far and under a light weight and the inside gate, should be very dangerous here. (12) CHOEGANG QUEEN also comes up in class after a good win over 1300M on October 16th when she sat handy and ran on strong. The draw does her no favours but the slight step up in trip shouldn't be of concern and Munro remains aboard. (10) TOUGH MAN missed out on the top two for the first time in his career when well back behind King Ace at his latest start. He is better than that and is worth another chance here. (3) CHEONBISEONG another in the minor money hunt.

Selections (11) King Ace (1) Great Thunder (12) Choegang Queen (10) Tough Man
Next Best 3, 8

Busan Race 7: Class 3 (1800M) Allowance / KRW 75 Million

(4) DOMINATION is a winner of his last five, the latest of which was over a mile in fast time at class 4 level He comes up in class and stretches out to 1800M for the first time, but neither should be an issue and he will be a red-hot favourite here. (5) HANEUL ULLIM can have his latest start disregarded when resuming from the outside barrier and then wide all the way over 1200M. He won his three previous starts up to a mile and today should suit much better. (3) SEONGSAN POWER doesn't win out of turn, and he may not be a winning chance here either, but he certainly knows how to place. Last time out he was a close class and distance 4th, and he should be in the mix again. (10) HILL MORE is up in class and down in weight after a good win at this distance on a good time. It won't be easy from the outside barrier, but he has potential for more progress and shouldn't be ruled out. (6) CHANGE BACK another in the placing frame.

Selections (4) Domination (5) Haneul Ullim (3) Seongsan Power (10) Hill More
Next Best 6, 9
Fast Start 3, 4, 5, 7

Seoul Race 8:  Class 4 (1700M) Allowance / KRW 60 Million

(5) NAMSANUI BYEOL may have only won once in ten attempts, but he has been ultra-consistent with a further seven top-five finishes and he has beaten a number of these in recent appearances. He comes in off a good 3rd place over 1400M on October 24th when handy to the pace throughout and tackles two turns for the first time with strong claims of winning. The big danger is (7) CUPID BABE. She remains a maiden after nine outings but has looked very competent since moving up in trip to two turns. She has a 4th and a 3rd from her latest two, both at 1700M and can sit just behind the leaders here and run on. She has a big chance. (4) CHEONGDAM TANK has mixed his form but has run some good times at this distance and from a good draw, can be competitive here. (12) ELITE LINE was a winner at class and distance on October 16th and warrants respect despite coming up 3kg in the weight and drawing badly. (2) CHEON GUN ran 4th behind Cupid Babe on what was his first attempt at the distance on October 23rd when he went back and ran on well. He should have benefited from the experience.

Selections (5) Namsanui Byeol (7) Cupid Babe (4) Cheongdam Tank (12) Elite Line
Next Best 2, 6

Seoul Race 9: Class 3 (1800M) Allowance / KRW 75 Million

Not much between the top two here. (7) YAHO GOLDEN CAT comes up in class having come from midfield to win at this distance at class 4 level in a good time on October 3rd. He comes down in the weights, draws fairly and can win again. He meets (6) BAEKSAEK GWANGCHAE better at the weights than he did when beaten by him back in August. That said, Baeksaek Gwangchae is a big danger and possible favourite. He comes in here looking for a hat-trick of wins after two very good scores at this distance in September and October, both in fast times. He too is up in class and slightly down in weight and a hat-trick is a real possibility. (4) RAON SPECIAL ran 2nd to Yaho Golden Cat on October 3rd and accordingly joins him up in class. The Musket Man filly has proven consistent and under a light weight and from a good gate she can measure up in this class. This is a third start since resuming after a long absence for (3) DETERMINATION. He improved last time and can make more progress here. (12) LIVINGSTONE will try to round the field and lead from the gate and if he is successful in that and is then ridden at a sensible tempo, he can hold on for minor money.

Selections (7) Yaho Golden Cat (6) Baeksaek Gwangchae (4) Raon Special (3) Determination
Next Best 12, 9

Seoul Race 10: Class 2 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

A very competitive race to conclude with. We'll take a chance on (3) LOVELY K, a winner of three from her latest four to get promoted to this class. She has made all in her latest two, both at this distance and both in good times and while it is true that plenty of this field have run faster for the distance, she looks to have more improvement in here and from a great draw, she could prevail again at likely decent odds. (1) WINNER BROWN races for the first time since August but generally goes well first-up. He can race on pace or handy and has an excellent turn of foot. (12) BYEOLNARA SINSA gets the widest gate but runs consistent times at this distance and will have plenty of backers with Mon Se-young returning to the mount. (7) MIGHTY SOO races for the first time since May but looked very well when winning an October trial and his quality should put him in the frame here. (11) ECHO BILL has more seconds than some wristwatches but has run great times. He has been through two trials since his last start to keep him sharp and while he comes up in the weights, he can run on strong here.

Selections (3) Lovely K (1) Winner Brown (12) Byeolnara Sinsa (7) Mighty Soo
