RACE 1

CIRCUIT STAR – Drops back in class for this and the last time he raced in this grade he was winning over the same distance. Big show here.
FORT MUSTANG – Showed good speed from an inside barrier last start and enjoyed a nice run and scoring his first win. Trainer has a great record with these sorts of races. Commands respect.
ZOFFSPEED – Bumped on jumping away last start but recovered to score a nice win over this distance. Can continue on his winning form here.
AUSPICIOUS DAY – One of three last-start winners in this race. Has the gate speed to be prominent in the run before the first turn.

RACE 2

CON SPERANZA – Outpointed by a decent one last start in the shape of Red Ocean and he was clear of the third that day (Ironprince). This trip can suit this Hideyuki Takaoka-trained runner and would be the top pick here.
IRONPRINCE – The Steven Burridge stable are in good form now and this lightly- raced maiden was not too far behind the selection last time out over the 1400m. He ran home powerfully that day and the extra 200m is a big plus to his chance here.
GOLDEN SPRINT – From a bang in-form stable in that of Donna Logan and he was fifth in the same form race as both Con Speranza and Ironprince. His rider had the whip struck out of his hand at the 200m and did not gain the smoothest of runs towards the line. He is value for more on the back of that and the stable are red hot now. One to keep onside.
DEN OF THIEVES – Another out of the June 27 race and showed improved form for the addition of a tongue tie when fourth. He is going the right way and can be included for the wider exotics here.

RACE 3

WINNING SPIRIT – Comes into this off back-to-back wins over the same distance. He has a strong record over the distance and stays in Class 4.
BIONICS – On-pace runner who has been very good this preparation. Can run quick times and looks to continue his trend.
CRYSTAL WARRIOR – Has had just the two starts since arriving at Kranji. Last start was against a strong field and has trialled in good order ahead of this.
ARION PASSION – Two starts ago won in a weaker class race but followed up with a nice run at this level. Looks a lightweight chance.

RACE 4

EIGHT BALL – Went close over this track and distance in a Class 5 a few runs ago and now drops down into a lesser grade of a Maiden race from his last outing. On balance of form, he is the one to beat here and should have the measure of the rivals that oppose him.
BEN WADE – Ran a sound race last time out when third and covering extra ground throughout. If he can build on that, he is a player here.
SIR ELTON – Did show a degree of promise last back end in a couple of Restricted Maidens and this is now an easier task then what he has been facing.
BIG TIGER (EA1) – An eye-catching run last start when fourth and could well have finished closer with a clear passage. Interesting here over 100m further.

RACE 5

TOM CAT – Has returned from a spell with two very solid runs. First-up win was very strong carrying some condition and looks fitter here.
UNCONQUERED – Was able to jump and lead for an impressive win last start. Stays in Class 4 and if he finds the front again, he will take some beating.
MIRACLE – Is a get-back and sprint-style runner. With strong speed on he can produce a big finish and look for him charging home late.
RAMBO – Only a lightly-raced horse up here but does have fitness from many appearances at the trials.

RACE 6

BLITZ POWER – A mare who really does deserve to win another one on the back of some excellent runs in defeat recently. Placed over the course and distance off a four-point higher mark in April, this race suits well and she is certainly good enough to land this prize.
LIM'S RHYTHM – Up five points for a 1700m win last time out. Has trialled okay since and the fact he is in winning form lends to him being one to include here.
LAI MAK MAK – The run last time out is better than it looks on paper and he did run on well when in the clear. This old boy is now 19 points lower than his last victory and if all goes to plan, he can capitalise on a reduced handicap mark.
FOOTSTEPSONTHECAR – A couple of handy runs over 1400m of late make this mare interesting in a weak affair. The rise in distance can suit.

RACE 7

SO HI CLASS – One of the best improved horses this term. Bidding for a three-in-a- row, and should be right in the mix even if extra 2kgs penalty might bring him back on terms with some of his rivals. Will still go close.
OCEAN CROSSING – Lost no marks when beaten in fourth by Mr Malek at his last outing. Finally steps up to his comfort zone in terms of distance and should have a major say in this.
PENNYWISE – On the quick back-up and will be better suited by the 1800m. This is a touch easier and a place on board is well within his compass.
MAKANANI – Showed a return to form two runs back and then disappointed again last start. Trip more up his alley. Don't dismiss his chances completely.

RACE 8

KISS YOUR SONG – This horse loves this course and distance. Has the speed to jump and be prominent upfront.
ARARAT LADY – Makes a welcome return to Class 4 here. Has a good record for this course and distance and she will make her presence felt in this.
AL GREEN – Getting on in age but looks to be in the right race here. Better suited to the shorter sprint trips and loves the Polytrack.
FIRST CHIEF – Comes here off two solid placings. Still a maiden in Singapore but has the speed out of the barriers to be prominent here.

RACE 9

VALOROUS – Caught wide last time out but still stuck on for close-up fourth to Unconquered. Better barrier this time. Keep safe.
CHEVAL BLANC – Improving with each run. No weight on his back again, but has drawn the widest this time. Will be in this for a long way.
FIRST CHOICE – Frontrunner whose only wins have been on Polytrack, but he handles turf okay. Drawn in and can vie for the lead. Leading hope.
DR KARDO – Seemed to resent the Polytrack kickback last start. Switches to turf for the first time. Not without ability and can bounce back.

RACE 10

MR MALEK - Hard to get past the convincing Stewards' Cup winner. First time stepping up to 1800m, but stable always bullish trip is not a query. The one to beat.~
BIG HEARTED – Ran on strongly in Stewards' Cup. Will relish extra 200m. On par with Mr Malek over that trip and won't surprise if he gets up at the last hop. Big run in store.
SAVVY COMMAND – Improving sort who has not usurped his spot. Inside barrier is a boon as he is the sort who needs cover to run to his best. Faces daunting task at level weights, but he is a progressive sort and may well rise to the occasion.
ROCKET STAR – Well beaten in Stewards' Cup but had excuses as he returned lame. Back on his game in trackwork and can make amends. Jockey change is another good guide.

RACE 11

LUCK OF MASTER – In sparkling form at the minute. Turns up late and the Long Course helps. Should be thereabouts again.
SATURNO SPRING – Found opposition stronger last time out but was not out of his depth. Eased back in Class 4. Looks the goods for another forward showing.
VOLUMINOUS – Mare who can mix her form but from the inside barrier, she will be more competitive. Can bounce back here.
BUDDY BUDDY – Back in form. Locked horns with Singapore Derby runner Metal World at his last start. Include in calculations.
