36th ARC in Mumbai with early registration time approaching

The last Asian Racing Conference (ARC) was held in Hong Kong last May and the next conference is only 10 months away with the 36th ARC to be held in Mumbai from January 24th, 2016 to January 29th, 2016.

The first ARC was held in Tokyo in 1960, attended by 69 delegates from 12 racing organisations representing seven countries. An ARC has been held approximately every 2 years since that time, with delegate numbers swelling to more than 800 from more than 30 countries, including many delegates from Europe, North America and South America.

The schedule of events in Mumbai commence on Friday, January 24th, with a race day at the famous Mahalakshmi Race course of the Royal Western India Turf Club.

Monday has Bureau meetings and the Opening Ceremony with the Business Sessions from Tuesday, January 26th, through to Thursday, January 28th which also includes the Closing Ceremony. The Social Evening is on the night of Wednesday, January 27th.

On Friday, January 29th, there is a Post Conference visit to a Stud Farm at Pune, a short distance from Mumbai.

Early Bird registrations for the 36th ARC are from April 1st through to September 30th, 2015.

There are a vast array of Official pre and post Conference tours including the legendary Golden Triangle with the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, national parks such as Ranthambore National Park, spa experiences in at 'Ananda in the Himalayas" with each region of India included for tours to chose from.
