UAE Sets 67 Meetings for 2019-20

The fixture list for the 2019-20 UAE racing season has been approved by His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Emirates Racing Authority.

The season will offer 67 race dates - equalling the record number in 2018-19 - and will open at Meydan on Thursday October 24, 2019.

Abu Dhabi Racecourse and Jebel Ali will commence their seasons on October 25 and November 1 respectively.

Sharjah gets underway eight days later on November 9, while Al Ain does the same from November 14.

Meydan’s season will have 23 meeting, Abu Dhabi 15, Al Ain 12, Jebel Ali 11 and Sharjah six.

HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed said: “We are pleased to announce the ERA Race Fixture for the racing season 2019–2020, which will provide the trainers and horse lovers an integrated season on the five UAE racecourses.

“Through this fixture we offer local and international races for thoroughbred and Arabian horses.”
