RACE 1

1st Pick: CIRCUIT STAR (2) Been hitting around the mark of late, but is switching back to turf over which he recorded one of his two wins. Nice barrier. Commands respect.
2nd Pick: RESURGENCE (12) Didn't seem to take to 2000m trips that well couple of runs back. Mile suits better. Drawn awkwardly. Winkers on. Can still charge home late.
3rd Pick: PER INCROWN (5) More of a Polytrack performer but didn't fare badly at the odd run on turf. Well drawn again, which will help him settle in a handy position. Place claims.
4th Pick: WIND OF DUBAI (13) Not the most consistent customer around. Has not made much headway since his only win, albeit seldom beaten far off. Visor instead of blinkers. Outside chance.

RACE 2

1st Pick: RED DRAGON (13) Ran very well for second on debut beyond the useful-looking Dinar over the course and distance. He has since trialled very nice just being held off by Istataba in that trial and looks sure to take another step forward in the right direction. Leading chance.
2nd Pick: DRAGON TYCOON (4) Has done very little wrong so far in a short career to date. He was just beyond Red Dragon in the Dinar race last time out and is another to have had a trial since that race. Conditions suit him well and he gets the blinkers on for this start and should be bang there at the finish.
3rd Pick: ISTATABA (14) A daughter of Irish Debry winner Treasure Beach and out of a two-time winning mare in Argentina. Her only trial was pleasing to the eye and she seemed to know her job well for that. She is bred for plenty of stamina and will only carry a light weight on debut. Looks the pick of the newcomers in this.
4th Pick: NORTHERN STAR (12) Ran on nicely on Polytrack debut last month over this trip when fourth. Would need to step forward again here, but that looks possible and he showed a good attitude in his only start so far. Each-way hope.

RACE 3

1st Pick: ABLEST ASCEND (1) Makes his way back into Class 4 and is a very speedy galloper. Has a great record over the course and distance.
2nd Pick: COUSTEAU (3) Was a nice winner two starts ago over this distance. All five of his career victories have come over this distance. Has claims here.
3rd Pick: QAIDOOM (11) Won her maiden impressively at a very short price. Wasn't comfortable last start and nothing went right. Look for her to bounce back in this.
4th Pick: HOTSHOTS SLAM (6) Handy galloper who trialled very well last week in preparation for this. Watch the market on this runner.

RACE 4

1st Pick: KONAN (8) Four-year-old son of Nicconi out of an unraced Magic Albert mare and is a half-brother to a sprint winner over 1181m. He has won a couple of trials and has looked good in both. This race lacks a little bit of depth outside of the top two or three chances and it could pay to stick with this newcomer.
2nd Pick: HOLY ELEANOR (11) Has been expensive to follow this mare. Turned over at odds of $9, $8 and $7 most recently behind Master Player (has won again since). She is well drawn to go forward and does have the best form in the book. Take a little on trust, though.
3rd Pick: MELLAD (1) Interesting runner back on the turf and finds an easier race to tackle here. Went close to winning in the UK on turf and should be included here.
4th Pick: KING ARTHUR (2) Has a shocker of a barrier here but comes into this in good order and is one for the multiples.

RACE 5

1st Pick: FREE FALLIN' (8) Ran super last start to run second. First time over the distance but breeding says he will like every metre of it.
2nd Pick: GOLD REWARD (4) Striking at 50% over this course and distance and looks well placed here. Continues to race well and can win again here.
3rd Pick: LUCK OF MASTER (1) Always a well-supported runner who just needs a solid pace in his races to finish strongly. Back to turf a big plus.
4th Pick: STAR JACK (7) Ran a much-improved race last start which was his best for some time, Worked his way down the ratings and should perform well.

RACE 6

1st Pick: ACCUMULATION (13) Doesn't win out of turn but if his fast-closing second at his last start is anything to go by, a second win looks doable here. Pacifiers off. Running over course and distance.
2nd Pick: ENDLESS (3) Still a maiden in 34 starts, but could have shed that status had he had more luck a few times. The booking of a stronger rider in Oscar Chavez points to his chances.
3rd Pick: RED RIDING WOOD (8) Horse that has been set over a wide variety of trips, with trainer also tinkering with his gear, like this time when pacifiers come off. Not reliable, but if on song, he can pop up at odds.
4th Pick: TONY'S LOVE (7) Showed bits and pieces in long-distance races a few times. Not without ability and if the pace is on, it won't surprise anyone if he gets up here.

RACE 7

1st Pick: GREAT EXPECTATION (4) The form out of his most recent race is working out well (had a couple of subsequent winners behind him that day) and now switches to the all-weather here. He is the one to beat on race form.
2nd Pick: WALIM (9) Ran well last time out when best of the rest in chasing runaway winner Dimesso last month. Up in trip here to the mile and has to prove he can stay this far, but it isn't a strong race and that could be possible.
3rd Pick: MESMERIZING (3) An Argentinian import who has been placed four times from six outings in South America under the name of Personal Skill. Placed up to 2000m on the sand and has had a couple of trials leading into this local debut. Clearly has ability and is one to include for multiples.
4th Pick: SIR ELTON (6) Has shown a glimpse of ability and is the best of the rest for the quartet.

RACE 8

1st Pick: OLYMPIA (4) A change of tactics on stable debut resulted in a good run in defeat and has since won a trial. Comes here fit and looks the way to play this Class 5.
2nd Pick: NORTHERN SUN (2) A last start winner over the course and distance but does have 3kgs more to shoulder here which won't be easy. Every chance if he is able to carry the extra weight.
3rd Pick: THE WILD PRINCE (3) Ran on well last time out and a repeat should see him involved in the business end of this affair.
4th Pick: RETALLICA (5) Off a fair mark here and the booking of Iskandar Rosman is a positive to offset the weight.

RACE 9

1st Pick: HADEER (5) All three of his career victories in Singapore have come at this distance. Looking for a hat-trick of wins here today.
2nd Pick: STARLIGHT (2) Winner of the Group 2 Singapore Three-Year-Old Classic two starts ago and can look to bounce back from a disappointing run last start where he pulled hard.
3rd Pick: PATTAYA (7) Has an impressive record over the course and distance. Has had a couple of nice trials leading up to this.
4th Pick: WATER ROCKET (10) Back to winning ways last start in a weaker grade but was dominant. Has been placed in this grade and should figure here.

RACE 10

1st Pick: ROMANTIC (4) Back from a freshen-up. Might find this a tad sharp, but if they roll along early, he can finish over the top of them.
2nd Pick: HEADHUNTER (3) Tried hard last time out. Drops back to 1000m. Only query is the horror gate. Tongue-tie on. If he can overcome that, he is worth following again.
3rd Pick: ELLIOT NESS (8) Has not quite lived up to promise, but to his credit, he didn't have an uninterrupted run a few times. Lovely barrier. Can bounce back.
4th Pick: MAGNIFIQUE (1) In his element here. Usually races up with pace but may get caught wide from awkward alley. Still looks the goods for a place on board.

RACE 11

1st Pick: LIM'S PASSION (1) At the top of the weights here after a strong second last start. Last win came in the middle of last year only two points lower than his current rating.
2nd Pick: MASTER PLAYER (12) Looking for three wins in a row after breaking his maiden not long ago. Only lightly raced and up against more experienced runners but holds winning form.
3rd Pick: CHARGER (10) Never far away from the winners in his last few starts. Has been very consistent and that next win doesn't look far away in this grade.
4th Pick: FROM THE NAVY (8) Was a surprise winner last start in Class 4 company. Has run some eye-catching races against handy types. Can surprise here.
