The Lee Freedman trained Irving Lipschitz returned with a bang last start and can go on with it in the eighth event at Singapore this evening.
While having to share the honours with the Stephen Gray trained King's Speech, Irving Lipschitz did a great job and should improve sharply racing second up.
Only lightly raced, he's now won two of his three starts and being by Animal Kingdom he should relish the step up to the mile.Always a big tick when a horse returns a winner and he doesn't appear to line up against any stars this evening.
Leading rider Daniel Moor continues his association with the three-year-old and while rising 2.5kg at the weights, he still appears well placed. From the inside draw he is expected to take up the running and is sure to be in this for a long way.
The Lee Freedman stable is in good form at present and expect Irving Lipschitz to continue that trend. The Mark Walker trained Lim's Rhythm also won well fresh and looms as a major threat with Duric linking aboard.
In three attempts, Duric has never missed the money aboard the four-year-old and possesses a decent strike rate when combined with the Walker stable. The step up in grade is some concern, however the nature in which he won first up suggests there is more to come.
Hoping he can be a little more prominent from the inside draw, though if he does get a long way back, he's won from that position before. He's placed in five of his last 10 starts and should be very strong late.
The Cliff Brown trained Centenary Diamond has been rock solid in both starts back this time in and should be right at his peak racing third up.While possessing just the sole win to his name from nine starts, he is certainly more than capable and with Rodd sticking aboard, he has to be kept safe.
Of the rest the Dan Meagher trained Lim's Mighty appears the best of the rest.A game performance last start to finish second leaves him right around the mark.
Good luck and happy punting.
