RACE 1

DRAGON HIGH (1) - Been placed in all last three Kranji Stakes D races. Beaten by under a length in both last starts over 1400m. Jockey competes from the No 1 draw – so can choose to take a sit back – conserve energy for another late run to go one better.

REALLY CAPABLE (5) - Was finishing off well behind Dragon High in a race on March 3. Parked out wide from draw 13 that time – now jumps from a better draw. Can improve.

ANCIENT WARRIOR (3) – One-paced last time behind Galvarino back on March 17. Benny Woodworth takes the ride and distance is stretched an extra 200m. Dropped in the ratings – so can trouble the judge.

PAPERBACK TROOPER (10) – Has been racing over 1200m recently. Now goes to 1400m with the champion jockey Vlad Duric on board. Take note.

RACE 2

GOLDEN YEARS (1) – Yet to win but has been knocking on the door. Isn’t ideally drawn but brings respectable credentials to contest the business end. Major player.

LIM’S CRAFT (4) – Performed well on debut behind a smart type. Needs luck from the wide draw but has the progression to improve so expect bold showing. Respect.

SIAM ROYAL ORCHID (10) – On debut. Comes into this affair off the back of two trial victories. Monitor parade/market.

ST ALWYN (11) – On debut. Comes into this affair off the back of two runner-up trial performances. Monitor parade/market.

RACE 3

WINNING HOBBY (11) - After some trials, won on debut over 1200m on turf by over two lengths. Winner without a penalty last time in Novice company losing by the minimum to Fame Star on February 17. Had a break – can now salute over the Polytrack.

WHY NOT (2) – Last-time winner and suffers the obligatory five points ratings hike. Won in a close finish with Glen Boss on board. Boss takes the ride again over Polytrack. Can transfer the turf form to the dirt.

CROUCHING SUN (8) – Knocking on the door after last two good efforts. Had a bad 10 draw in last race. Now exits from a worse 12 draw. Can finish fast at the end.

MASTER OF MALIBU (1) – Good third on March 3 over 100m shorter. Likes to be upfront at the start and has been running strong to the wire. Can be in the mix for the places.

RACE 4

BRILLIANT ONE (1) - Close third in this grade last time. Has not gone up in the ratings for being beaten under a length. Has a much better No 2 draw with Noh Senari riding at an impressive strike rate. Can go close.

MIKCAIPHO (7) - Found it tough in higher grades recently, Class 5 will be more to the horse’s liking. Goes from the No 4 box – which is an improvement from 10th March run.

SOLITAIRE (11) - Has won in Class 5 back on New Year’s Day. Ran in Kranji Stakes D after that. Dropped back to Class 5 on March 8 – very average run. Second-up in this grade – could bounce to good effect at a good price.

EDDIE GRAY (2) – Another horse finding it tough in a higher grade. Drops from Kranji Stakes D to Class 5 with Vlad Duric on board. Can drop and pop into the winners’ enclosure.

RACE 5

ELITE CONQUEST (3) – Performed fairly well on debut after an impressive trial. Will appreciate the step-up in trip and is well drawn to get an economical run. Will take beating.

EAGLE EYE (1) – Classy performer who returns after a break. Well drawn to perform and will appreciate the services of the leading rider Vlad Duric. Capable of contesting the business end.

MISS DUSTY (10) – Handy mare who has developed a respectable record in a short career. Well drawn, so expect bold showing on best credentials. Major player.

LORD OF CLOUD (6) – Handy customer who is well credentialled for this affair. Isn’t ideally suited over 1200m but the stable’s decision to tackle this affair must be respected.

RACE 6

ELENA OF AVALOR (1) – Long-standing maiden from 15 career outings but finds a very suitable task. Steps up in trip and is drawn to do no work, so finds her chance to breakthrough.

SUGARTIME JAZZ (7) – Has been knocking on the door in recent outings. Fit customer who is well suited over the track and distance, and is capable of fighting out the finish. Respect.

ROAN RANGER (6) – Has shown improvement in two most recent outings. Finds conditions to suit yet again, so must be considered. In the mix.

HOLY GRAIL (4) – Tends to mix form but can be competitive in Class 5 grade and comes into this affair off the back of a trial victory. Don’t ignore.

RACE 7

REVOLUTION (1) – Won very nicely last time in Class 3. Now comes to Kranji Stakes C – should be no problem as won on November 30 in this grade and course and distance. With Vlad Duric on board, should go off as favourite.

BIRAZ (2) - Been running in higher company before a poor effort over 1000m on March 3. Now has a better draw and second-up in this grade. Can deliver.

CHOCANTE (5) - Key form for this horse is back on January 6. Close second to Wijaya over course and distance. Should be fighting out at the finish.

JOMO (4) – Was in excellent form last November winning two races. Found it tougher in Class 3 after ratings increase. Had a bad draw from gate No 13 – but did finish fast from same stall last time.

RACE 8

DRONE (5) – Bounced back to winning form last start after losing the rider at the start prior. Has since had a break and has returned with a dominant trial victory. Will take beating.

TIME TO ROCK (4) – Has shown improvement in her last two outings since dropping to Class 4 grade. Isn’t ideally drawn but is capable of contending with a repeat dose.

DARK NECESSITIES (1) – Broke through last start after leading all the way. Will roll to the front and is capable of giving a sight. Major player.

TAVITO (11) – Returned in fairly handy fashion first-up from a let-up. Will strip fitter for this assignment and is open to improvement. Worth including.
