Clark, 25, is the 10th Dux of the South Australian Apprentice Academy to be the beneficiary of a short riding experience at Kranji as part of an agreement between Thoroughbred Racing South Australia and the Singapore Turf Club.

She will follow in the footsteps of previous Dux winners Amy Herrmann, Libby Hopwood, Jordan Frew, Krystal Bishop, Jamie Kah, Jake Toeroek, Sigrid Carr, Matthew Poon and Emily Finnegan last year.

Born in Tasmania, Clark, whose older brother Dylan is a trainer there, first honed her craft on her home soil for two years. Since her first winner at Spreyton, she has gone on to ride 90 winners before transferring her indentures to Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas in Adelaide in March 2017.

She was crowned Adelaide champion apprentice jockey last season and is currently sitting on top in both the Metropolitan (40 winners) and State jockey premierships (114 winners).

All up, Clark has booted home in excess of 300 winners with one of her highlights being the Listed Birthday Cup (2040m) aboard Wasabi Bob for her boss Macdonald and Gluyas at Morphettville on February 16, 2019.

Clark, who will be indentured to trainer Shane Baertschiger at Kranji, goes to scale at 54kgs and will claim one kilo
