SINGAPORE MAY MEETING 2019 - FRIDAY, 17 MAY 2019:

RACE 2 [TF0610]

A veterinary examination on Saturday, 18 May 2019 revealed that FIGHT TO VICTORY (R Woodworth) had returned lame off (right) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

RACE 3 [TF0611]

A veterinary examination on Saturday, 18 May 2019 revealed that THE CAPITAL (G Boss) had returned lame off (right) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

RACE 4 [TF0612]

On Tuesday, 21 May 2019, Trainer CT Kuah advised that MA YOU CAI (App T Krisna) had passed a veterinary inspection on Saturday, 18 May 2019, however he was disappointed with the performance, and is having further examinations carried out to determine if there are any issues with the gelding.

RACE 7 [TF0615]

On Monday, 20 May 2019, Trainer R Le Grange advised that MIGHTY EMPEROR (M Rodd) had pulled up well, and concurred with the rider’s comments on the night that under the handicapped weight, and with the tempo of the race, the gelding was not suited. He added that the gelding also suffered interference early in the home straight, which stopped its momentum at a vital stage.

RACE 1 [TF0638]

On Tuesday, 21 May 2019, Trainer S Baertschiger advised that DARCI’S BOY (J Powell) had pulled up well, and attributed the performance to the gelding being slow to begin, as it races best when able to travel in the first two positions. He will continue with its current preparation.

RACE 6 [TF0643]

A veterinary examination on Monday, 20 May 2019 revealed that WIJAYA (App WH Kok) had returned lame off (right) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

On Tuesday, 21 May 2019, Trainer HW Tan advised that SUPERSONICSURPRISE (M Lerner) had pulled up well, however did appear to race like a tired horse, and will tentatively give the gelding a short break from racing.

RACE 7 [TF0644]

On Tuesday, 21 May 2019, Trainer J Saimee advised that MY GENESIS (S Noh) had pulled up well, and attributed the performance to the gelding not being ideally suited at the 1200m distance. He will continue with its current preparation.

A veterinary examination on Monday, 20 May 2019 revealed that SHAHBAA (G Boss) had returned lame off (right) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.
