Updates on stewards' follow-ups to Friday and Saturday meetings

SINGAPORE MAY MEETING 2019 - FRIDAY, 14 JUNE 2019.

RACE 1 [TF0739] 

A veterinary examination on Saturday, 15 June 2019 revealed that ASTRA (R Zawari) had returned lame near (left) fore and near (left) hind. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again. 

RACE 3 [TF0741]

On Saturday, 15 June 2019, Ms C Iizuka, Stable Representative for Trainer DL Freedman advised that FORESTO (App A Syahir) had pulled up well and the stable will continue with its current preparation.

RACE 4 [TF0742]

On Saturday, 15 June 2019, Ms C Iizuka, Stable Representative for Trainer DL Freedman advised that MY BIG BOSS (D Moor) had pulled up well and the stable will continue with its current preparation.

RACE 4 [TF0742] 

On Saturday, 15 June 2019, Trainer S Burridge advised that LIM'S PASSION (App WH Kok) had passed a veterinary inspection this morning. He explained that the gelding had some abrasions to the hind legs which he attributed to some crowding at the start. He added that the stable expected a forward showing having worked well leading up to the race, and indicated it would now be given a spell. Stewards advised Mr Burridge that the gelding is required to perform in an Official Barrier trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before being permitted to race again.

RACE 5 [TF0743] 

A veterinary examination on Saturday, 15 June 2019 revealed that THE CAPITAL (App R Clark) had returned lame near (left) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again. 

RACE 6 [TF0744] 

On Saturday, 15 June 2019, Trainer S Baertschiger advised that INVICTUS WARRIOR (App R Clark) had pulled up well and added that he would endeavor to have the gelding ridden quieter at its next start in an attempt for it to finish its race off better. He will continue with its current preparation.

RACE 7 [TF0745] 

On Saturday, 15 June 2019, Trainer M Walker advised that FULIFE KING (K A'isisuhairi) had pulled up well and added that the gelding will step down to 1000m at its next start. He will continue with its current preparation.

RACE 2 [TF0748] 

On Monday, 17 June 2019, Ms C Iizuka, Stable Representative for Trainer DL Freedman advised that HUNTSMAN (J Powell) had pulled up well and the stable will continue with its current preparation.

RACE 4 [TF0750]

On Monday, 17 June 2019, Trainer S Burridge advised that PURE SPARK (App WH Kok) had pulled up well and will take benefit from its first up run.

RACE 5 [TF0751] 

A veterinary examination on Monday, 17 June 2019 revealed that TRAPIO (J Azzopardi) had returned lame off (right) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.
