RACE 1

GROS PITON (6) – Hard to get past this son of Pins. Scored convincingly last time out. Goes over the same course and distance and from the low draw, he should enjoy a gun run again.
SPORTSCASTER (3) – Has been running on of late. Clearly needs more ground. Would give apprentice jockey Mohd Firdaus a nice fillip if he won. Won't surprise if he runs in the money.
TAVITO (7) – In-and-out performer. Ran an eye-catching third two runs back on the Polytrack. Reverts to that surface on Friday and is worth following even if he is not the most reliable customer around.
HAPPY SAGA (1) – Down in grade. Backmarker who can produce a solid turn of foot when in the mood. Don't write him off.

RACE 2

ON THE RAZZ (9) – Rattled home late for second to stablemate Runminderbinderrun at his last start. Will relish extra 200m. Awkward alley not a major concern as he gets back.
FOREVER WIN (6) – Always thereabouts in five starts. Deserves to get off the mark. In fine fettle on training tracks. There is a race for him soon.
LIM'S MYSTERY (12) – Back from a freshen-up. Did show some ability at last couple of starts. Can take some minor prizemoney home.
INVICTUS WARRIOR (5) – Blinkers come off. Natural frontrunner who has struggled inside last furlong so far. Likely leader from low gate, though Champagne Finale might give him a bit of a challenge in the early speed department. Place claims with a bit of luck.

RACE 3

CHARMING DIAMOND (6) – Didn't fire a shot in the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe. Worth better than that. Expect a bolder showing from gate No 2 this time. Won't surprise if he makes amends.
TOOSBIES (3) – From barrier No 1, he will get the run of the race. Will attack the line as he usually does and there is a good chance it may come off this time.
RIVER RADIANCE (4) – There was plenty to like about the way he opened his account at his last start. This is tougher especially from the wide barrier. Place claims look better.
WILD BEE (10) – On the quick back-up. Seems to enjoy Polytrack better. Two runs back he flew home for a narrow second to stablemate Mighty Conqueror. Keep safe.

RACE 4

MATSURIBAYASHI (4) – Has been racing well without winning. Will appreciate stepping back up to the 2000m journey and will be strong to the line. Expect bold showing.
GOLD CITY (1) – The weight may have taken a toll on her late last start. She won't have that issue here with the three-kilo claim from Simon Kok Wei Hoong. Capable of contesting the business end.
MR BACHARACH (3) – Presented last start at the top of the straight but failed to make an impression on a track that didn't suit. Capable of making amends, so don't ignore.
MIDDLE KINGDOM (5) – Has been racing well without winning. Finds conditions to suit so must be kept safe with even luck. In the mix.

RACE 5

MAJULAH (6) – Has not won for a long time and can mix his form but in a race of this class, he could bob up here. Top pick in what is a tricky race – and would be an apt winner on National Day.
RICH FORTUNE (1) – Suited here in a small field being a backmarker. He could run home over the top of these on his better form and is off a winnable mark rated 36.
GOLDEN COIN (2) – Showed some improvement last start and gets the in-form Simon Kok Wei Hoong on to claim 3kgs.
PARKER (4) – Won two runs back and although a bit disappointing last time, he is certainly good enough to win this on his best.

RACE 6

BLUESTONE (9) – Was super impressive as a two-year-old on debut. Took to racing with great professionalism, cornered beautifully and was never in doubt. Novice against older races is a touch tougher. Racing on turf this time as well. Still a great chance to make it two-from-two.
OCEAN CROSSING (2) – Has trained on since last-start win. Will probably settle not too far off the pace. Will be in the mix when he is produced.
HOTSHOTS SLAM (10) – Loomed as a winner in Aushorse Golden Horseshoe, but could not close it off. Every chance, but winner Inferno was a class above. Should find this easier.
ATTENTION (6) – Made ground steadily last Friday but Bencoolen was too good. Backs up and blinkers on this time. Include in quartet.

RACE 7

STAR JACK (4) – One-time winner over 2000m. Races on the speed, but has lacked that extra when it mattered. Stable in form. Won't be far off when the whips are cracking.
KING'S SPEECH (3) – First test over 2000m. Gives the impression he can see out the trip. On Gold Cup trail. Will be running on at the business end.
KENG MAK MAK (5) – Never easy to reel him in when he gives some sight in the straight. Boasts a one-from-one record over 2000m. That day he tore away down the back and caught his rivals napping. Doubtful he can reenact this here, but he can still be in this for a long way.
SONG TO THE MOON (2) – Not the same horse, but did not run all that badly at his last couple of outings over 1800m. Trip is right up his street and gets the services of Vlad Duric. Can sneak into the minors.

RACE 8

FAME STAR (1) – Drops back in easier Class 4 company. Expect plenty of speed in this race. Will take beating if he tucks in behind the pace and enjoys an economical run in transit. Go close.
EVERYBODY HAPPY (11) – Another backmarker who will smoke his pipe at the back before letting down in the home straight. Commands respect.
I AM THE ONE (3) – Led from start to finish to fall in narrowly on debut. Will have to be used up to come across again. Will be more vulnerable this time, but can still hang on for a place.
GENTLEMEN AGREEMENT (9) – Won well last time but this is harder. Will drop back and try and launch his run from the back. Stiffer task but can land a minor placing.

RACE 9

OTTAWA (1) – Could have won at his last start if he didn't lay in under pressure. Used to wear visors, but blinker-pacifiers come on for the first time. Due for a win.
FLAUNT (9) – Has not won since his maiden win in March, but he lost no marks either. Looks safely held but better horses, but don't discard him for a podium finish.
SNIP (4) – Going great guns. In his element here and another placing is on the cards.
JUSTICE SMART (12) – Stays too far back to be in with any sort of a chance, but maybe from barrier No 1, he may be ridden more positive in midfield. Can steal a place.
