On Tuesday, 13 August 2019, Trainer S Baertschiger advised that HOTSHOTS SLAM (M Kellady) had come to the end of its preparation and would now be sent for a spell.

On Tuesday, 13 August 2019, Trainer S Baertschiger advised that I AM THE ONE (M Kellady) was not suited be the fast early tempo of the race and therefore could not take up a leading position. He will continue with its current preparation.

On Tuesday, 13 August 2019, Trainer M Walker advised that he was of the opinion SACRED GURU (R Woodworth) was not suited by the firm racing surface. He will continue with its current preparation and look to step the gelding up in distance.

On Tuesday, 13 August 2019, Trainer L Dragon advised that PACIFIC MYSTICAL (M Rodd) would now be sent for a spell and she would look to space the gelding's runs next preparation.

On Tuesday, 13 August 2019, Trainer HW Tan advised that VESONTIO (J Powell) had pulled up well and he could offer no explanation for the performance other than the gelding may not have been suited by the fast pace. He will continue with its current preparation.

On Tuesday, 13 August 2019, Trainer S Baertschiger advised that in his opinion WASSERGEIST (J Powell) was forced to work too hard to obtain the lead. He will continue with its current preparation but will try to ride the gelding off the pace next start.
