SINGAPORE AUGUST MEETING - FRIDAY, 16 AUGUST 2019

RACE 1 [TF1025]

On Monday, 19 August 2019, Trainer M Clements advised that ROYAL PAVILLION (V Duric) was having its first start for him after being freshened up, adding the gelding raced too keenly in the early and middle stages. He will look to drop the gelding back in distance, and may remove the blinkers from its gear.

RACE 4 [TF1028]

On Monday, 19 August 2019, Trainer M Walker advised that BLACK QUAIL (R Woodworth) had passed a veterinary examination on Saturday, 17 August 2019, however would now be freshened before its next start. 

RACE 4 [TF1028]

On Monday, 19 August 2019, Trainer J Peters advised that whilst OVERCOMING (D Moor) was disappointing, the gelding had pulled up well. He will look to drop the gelding back in distance at its next start as it overraced over the 1400m.

RACE 7 [TF1031]

On Monday, 19 August 2019, Trainer R Le Grange advised that MIGHTY EMPEROR (V Duric) had pulled up well, and agreed with Jockey Duric's comments, that after missing the start, the gelding did not seem to travel comfortably from that position. He will continue with its current preparation.

RACE 8 [TF1032]

On Monday, 19 August 2019, Trainer L Dragon advised that WHISTLING WIN (J Powell) had passed a veterinary inspection on Saturday, 17 August 2019, however had some slight swelling to the near (left) fore fetlock. Scans carried out had not shown any injury other than increased fluid to both front fetlocks, whilst x-rays showed mild supracondylar lysis. Veterinary staff have recommended treatment, or spelling the gelding to allow the inflammation to settle.

SINGAPORE AUGUST MEETING - SUNDAY, 18 AUGUST 2019

RACE 1 [TF1051]

A veterinary examination on Monday, 19 August 2019 revealed that INVISIBLE (App S Shafrizal) had returned lame near (left) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

RACE 3 [TF1053]

On Monday, 19 August 2019, Trainer C Brown advised that ARARAT LADY (M Rodd) had pulled up well and was satisfied with the performance considering the mare carried 59kg in the race. He will continue with its current preparation.

RACE 6 [TF1056]

A veterinary examination on Monday, 19 August 2019 revealed that ZMAN (A Collett) had returned lame near (left) fore due to a radio-carpal bone fracture. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

RACE 7 [TF1057]

On Monday, 19 August 2019, Trainer DL Freedman's representative, Ms. C Iizuka advised that EXCELLING (M Rodd) had passed a veterinary inspection on Monday, 19 August 2019, however will be given a short break from racing.
