Updates on Stewards' follow-ups to Friday and Sunday meetings

SINGAPORE OCTOBER MEETING 2019 - FRIDAY, 04 OCTOBER 2019:

RACE 1 [TF1247]

A veterinary examination on Saturday, 05 October 2019 revealed that COME AND TAKE ALL (App AB Riduan) had returned lame off (right) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

RACE 3 [TF1249]

On Tuesday, 08 October 2019, Trainer M Walker advised that WIN MAK (App AB Riduan) had pulled up well and will now endeavour to place the gelding on the turf surface, as its previous best form in Australia has been on soft tracks.


RACE 7 [TF1253]

On Tuesday, 08 October 2019, Trainer M Clements advised that OFFICIAL (V Duric) had pulled up well and attributed the performance to being caught wide.

RACE 8 [TF1254]

A veterinary examination on Saturday, 05 October 2019 revealed that JUSTICE LIGHT (R Woodworth) had returned lame near (left) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

RACE 2 [TF1257]

On Monday, 07 October 2019, Mr G Forbes, Assistant Trainer to Trainer D Logan advised that GAMELY (V Duric) had sustained an injury to its off (right) hind leg after being galloped on during the event.

RACE 4 [TF1259]

A veterinary examination on Monday, 07 October 2019 revealed that YULONG HOLY FLYING (J Azzopardi) had returned lame near (left) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

RACE 5 [TF1260]

On Tuesday, 08 October 2019, Trainer M Walker advised that SACRED CROIX (R Woodworth) had pulled up well, but may not have appreciated the nine day back-up from its last start. He added that the tempo of the race also made it difficult to make up ground on the leaders, and will continue on with plans to start in the Dester Singapore Gold Cup.

RACE 7 [TF1262]

On Tuesday, 08 October 2019, Trainer M Clements advised that SIAM VIPASIRI (L Beuzelin) was slow away and was outpaced early. He added it was the mare's first start on the Polytrack, and that it will be better suited back on the turf surface and stepped up in distance.

RACE 8 [TF1263]

On Tuesday, 08 October 2019, Trainer ZL Mok advised that I AM INVISIBLE (V Duric) had pulled up well and attributed the performance to being caught wide without cover during the event.

RACE 9 [TF1264]

On Tuesday, 08 October 2019, Trainer S Baertschiger advised that GLOBAL KID (J Powell) was very stirred up in the mounting yard which would have impacted on its performance. He added the entire will be better suited once stepped up in distance where it has performed best.

RACE 11 [TF1266]

On Tuesday, 08 October 2019, Trainer J Peters advised that STREET PARTY (D Moor) was disappointing, but had pulled up well. He added that Jockey D Moor had advised the gelding did not seem to be comfortable racing amongst other runners. Trainer Peters will now consider dropping the gelding back in distance where it has performed well previously.
