RACE 1

YULONG SHENG LONG (2) – Only success here was over the course and distance off a five-point higher mark and in a race like this, his form is much the best on show. One to beat.
ETWAS NEUES (4) – Better last time on Polytrack when racing in the grade for the first time. Should be able to build on that and give the selection most to think about.
CLOUD SHADOW (9) – A solid effort over 1400m last time when third (closing off well), the step-up in distance can suit and should go well again. Rider unlikely to claim his allowance, though.
BLUE CHIP (3) – Only four points higher than only win and is the best of the rest.

RACE 2

SUN ELIZABETH (2) – Still yet to win but has been running well in her last few starts, and this isn't a very strong race. So, the maiden tag could easily be broken here with Marc Lerner in the saddle.
GANGNAM CLASSIC (5) – On the pick of his form, he should be in the mix at the business end of this. One of the more likely winners.
THOTH WARRIOR (3) – Dropping points but continues to run well enough in defeat and in what is a very weak race, it would be no surprise to see him go close.
RICH FORTUNE (7) – Now 13 points lower than his last victory. In his current form, he is a risky proposition but if producing his best, he is interesting.

RACE 3

ROCKET STAR (5) – Second in the Group 2 Aushorse Golden Horseshoe as a 2yo, he has since trialled very well and will sport a set of pacifiers due to an eye injury and has as a result nearly lost an eye. Ricardo Le Grange is taking no chances with him and his trial was very pleasing. On what he has shown so far in his short career, he will prove hard to beat here on the way to a possible tilt at the Saas Fee Stakes.
IMPERIUM (1) – A good solid run first-up last time out under a big weight. He once again must give plenty of weight away to decent types, but he is talented and should give another bold showing.
DIAMOND RING (6) – A progressive three-year-old with only two runs under his belt. He has an attractive weight here and has plenty of scope for further improvement and must not be left out of calculations.
HUGO (2) – Had shown a real liking for the surface prior to a slightly below-par run last time. He will carry a kilo less here and can bounce back to form.

RACE 4

DECRETO (2) – Now racing in this grade for only the second time and is 12 points lower than his last win now. Not the most reliable of horses but is very well handicapped on his best form and is worth taking a chance with here.
GOLDEN WIN (1) – A last-start winner and that form counts for quite a bit in a race like this, and it has taken a nice boost with the recent victory of Make U Famous. Will run well.
GROS PITON (4) – Stood in the gates last time and had little chance thereafter. With Vlad Duric booked, it can prove to be a different story.
DEE MAK MAK (9) – Back in a Class 5 and is a place hope here.

RACE 5

EL PRIMERO (10) – Relished stepping up in trip last start. Finds conditions to suit yet again with the lightweight, so expect a bold showing with a repeat dose.
MR DUJARDIN (3) – Was due to run favourite last start before being scratched at the gates due to being lame. Must be respected on best efforts.
WIND TRAIL (5) – Performed fairly well first-up but will strip fitter for this assignment. Major player with the race run to suit.
MAJESTIC EMPRESS (1) – Has been struggling to win but has been knocking on the door. Must be considered for the minor end with the right breaks.

RACE 6

ON THE RAZZ (3) – Has trialed well leading up to this assignment and finds a weak race to attempt to land a first success. Tentative top pick.
PRINCE PEGASUS (2) – Now back on turf having run some eye-catching races on the all-weather. One to include for sure.
MR ROCKWELL (6) – Won a trial recently over the smart Be Bee and has bits and pieces of form that give him some sort of chance here.
HAPPY SAGA (1) – Has won at least five races more than most of his rivals here and in what is a desperately poor race, he must be included even though he is out of form.

RACE 7

LIM'S CRAFT (7) – Beaten by a good one last time in the shape of Fame Star. He is an upwardly mobile type who can certainly improve furthermore and is the one to beat here on recent form.
FILIBUSTER (3) – A talented mare who has now won five from 16 starts and was good in victory on the Polytrack last time out. She is capable on both surfaces and it can prove beneficial to follow this lady in good form.
EXCELLING (9) – Finished off well last time out under Vlad Duric when third behind Fame Star over this course and distance, he can once again go close here with just 54.5kgs.
RICHEBOURG (5) – Has had a nice break and a trial in preparation for this and is the type of horse who can sprint well fresh. Will be finishing off strongly.

RACE 8

FIELD MARSHAL (5) – Well thought of three-year-old by connections, he is unbeaten in two starts to-date and looks very much untapped as far as the ceiling of his ability is concerned. He has trialled well for this and it would be no surprise to see him remain unbeaten shortly after 10.20pm on Friday night. A very nice horse.
SIAM ROYAL ORCHID (4) – Still very lightly raced four-year-old and is open to further improvement on the back of a good third last time out.
HOWL (3) – An in-form on-pace runner who trialled very well last week and will be putting himself in the race from an early stage.
EFFORTLESS (2) – Remains off a mark of 62 and has been racing generously off that current handicap mark for his last three outings and is a must for the quartet.
