RACE 1

MAKE U FAMOUS (2) - In very good form for a race like this and recent form is the best on show. Should go close and can prove hard to beat.
BRING ME JOY (10) - Worked well this week and the return to this course and distance is a plus.
PAPERBACK TROOPER (1) - This is a weaker Class 5 than last time and has a handy 3kgs coming off the 59kgs here. Solid place chance.
LUCK MAK MAK (4) - One to include for the multiples here judged on recent performances.

RACE 2

SABAH STAR (10) - Was seen to good effect late last time out when closing off powerfully for second behind an easy winner. This is far less demanding and should prove the one to beat in a weaker Restricted Maiden.
MERYL (11) - Has an attractive light weight here of only 51.5kgs and did win a recent trial in good fashion. Form at slightly shorter trips is good and looks the biggest danger to Sabah Star.
CIRCUIT STAR (8) - Was doing all his best work late behind Water Rocket last time out and the step-up in trip looks ideal.
MY SWEETHEART (1) - Beau Mertens rides and was another who caught the eye late in his latest outing. The winkers go on and they can certainly help him improve furthermore.

RACE 3

BOOM SHAKALAKA (8) - A decent two-year-old, he has not been seen since running down the field in the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe. He has finished second in a recent trial and looked good in his trackwork this week. In what is a solid Class 4 event, it might be worth siding with this son of Spirit Of Boom
IRON RULER (5) - Has only had the benefit of three runs and the most recent being a winning one over 1400m (three winners have come out of the race) and is with the right stable to make possible winning return to action. Can go very close.
NO FUN NO GAIN (2) - Classy type who has gone up five points for a win last time out under Vlad Duric. Michael Rodd takes over this time and this on-pace runner must be considered.
LIM'S PASSION (3) - Has every chance judged on recent form and the drop back in trip is no negative. Top four finish expected here.

RACE 4

MIGHTY VAIN (2) - A solid third behind Water Rocket last time out and that form should be good enough to land this prize. It is not a strong Restricted Maiden.
BELIEVER (3) - Another very lightly-raced and there should be some improvement to come still at this realistic level.
SHOW ROYALE (8) - Now tries 1600m on his third outing. He has shown signs of ability on both runs to-date and is capable of improving now up in distance.
ALICEINWONDERLAND (10) - The extra trip will help and is the best of the rest for the minor money.

RACE 5

NO REGRETS (7) - Classy juvenile last term and has returned with a massive trial win in blinkers. This Shane Baertschiger-trained galloper has plenty of scope for further improvement and should prove tough to beat. May well end up at a higher level than most of these.
EASTIGER (6) - Form at this course and distance is very good for a race like this and the in-form apprentice Mohammad Nizar will take to the saddle for Lee Freedman. Every chance.
BARBEQUE (1) - Was better last time out and on the pick of his form, he is some sort of hope for a finish in the frame.
STAR SHIELD (4) - A 1230m winner in New Zealand and has been placed at 1400m. Has won a trial here and was then fifth behind No Regrets in the other. Interesting newcomer to racing here at Kranji.

RACE 6

ARAMAAYO (8) - The class act judged on Australian form and gets in here with a lovely light weight of 51kgs under A'Isisuhairi 'Harry' Kasim. The performance last time out was extremely good in defeat and if everything goes right for him, he will be very hard to beat.
WEBSTER (3) - No fluke about his run in the EW Barker Trophy when third and if able to back that up here with a similar effort, he should be right there at the business end.
QUARTER BACK (6) - Has danced many a dance in group company and was a sound sixth in the EW Barker Trophy when last seen. He has worked nicely and it would be no surprise to see a big show from this Michael Clements-trained runner.
PER INPOWER (12) - Up 17 points for his last three wins and now goes up in grade again, this is tougher but he is improving fast and should not be discounted.

RACE 7

LUCK OF MASTER (5) - Flew home last time for third behind Blitz Power and this extra journey should help his cause.
MIDDLE KINGDOM (10) - Might not be the worst at decent odds with a light weight and is a horse with confirmed stamina. Market watch.
MR EXCHEQUER (4) - Has dropped quite a bit down the rating scale in his last five runs and is on an attractive mark currently. Place chance.
LARRY (8) - Will stay strongly and has proven form off this mark. So is one to consider for the exotics.

RACE 8

LIM'S ZOOM (2) - Chased Coming Through last time out when finishing second and the winner had first run that night when scoring. Now back on the turf, he has some smart form to his name and is certainly one of he more likely winners here.
ARNANTARA (1) - Placed twice in two starts so far in Singapore and is getting the hang of racing here at Kranji. Looks well suited by these conditions and can give Lim's Zoom most to think about.
SILENT FORCE (3) - Forgive his run last time out, he is better then that and will now sport special plates for the first time as well. He may well be at decent odds and can offer some value here.
RUNFINNRUN (5) - Has had a break which might well have been needed as his form tapered off after winning on debut. One to watch here.
