RACE 1

HERO IN THE WIND (4) - It can prove worthwhile to take a chance on this Hideyuki Takaoka-trained galloper here. The stable are in good form and he can offer some value against recent winners. TSURIAN (2) - A nice win last time out and he must be seriously considered again to go close in this contest
WHIZZY WALTZZY (3) - Another recent winner, he has a little more on his plate here but can still be in the thick of things late.
ELENA OF AVALOR (7) - A mare up in in distance here, but if she copes with the extra trip, she is a top four chance in an interesting race.

RACE 2

SIMBA (1) - A pleasing debut performance when third and has trialled well since then. Would need to settle a little better but it is early days and looks a nice type going forward.
HAPPY LUCKY STAR (2) - Chased a runaway winner last time in the shape of Supermax and now stepping up in trip. Looks an ideal move from the stable. A must include here.
NINETEEN STAR (8) - In behind Happy Lucky Star last time and should know more for that experience this time around, looks progressive and should go well again. One to watch going forward.
ROCKET WINNER (11) - One to include in the mix on the back of a sound effort last time out.

RACE 3

MIG PIERRO (2) - A smart win over this course and distance last time out and has gone up five points for that win. He looks good value for a lot more than that and may prove to be a horse that will hold his own in a higher grade.
SILENT PARTNER (1) - Not seen since April and has had two nice trials ahead of this return to action, he is in the right stable to have him firing first time up and can give the selection most to worry about here.
PINDUS (8) - Finally got his head in front last time and it might be that he can continue in good form now that has happened.
COPACABANA (9) - One at odds that can run well against some better fancied rivals here.

RACE 4

GOLD KINGDOM (4) - Still yet to win one but has run very well in defeat over the course and distance. This could be his race, leading hope.
PEGASUS JUNIOR (5) - Can give chase better than most to Gold Kingdom and has been the mount of Michael Rodd recently.
YULONG HOLY FLYING (11) - A place chance on best form, but hard to expect more.
BOUNCEBACK ABILITY (3) - A winner off a point lower last November, getting back to the right mark to run well.

RACE 5

MAGIC WAND (1) - Last start was a nice return to form and this 5yo has a great record of the course and distance. He has a big weight but he can carry it and looks primed to run very well here.
FORESTO (6) - A tough win last time and has gone up five points for that success, this demands more but he is in form and should go close again.
KARISTO (4) - Has some rock-solid Class 3 form and is back in trip here which is a plus too.
CARIBBEAN LADY (5)
- Returning to the conditions of her last success and comes from an in-form stable. Each-way hope.

RACE 6

SATURDAY (8) - Bolted up in his Restricted Maiden win on Singapore Gold Cup day and the form has been boosted since then. Looks like a smart type going forward and can take this prize on to better races in future.
ROMANTIC (7) - Lightly-raced type and has now joined Jason Lim. There is more improvement to come and he is a must for the top four here.
TARO SAN (1) - Only blot on his copybook recently has been on turf and was back to form last start with a good second to an in-form rival in the shape of Golden Kid. Should run very well here.
STREET PARTY (10) - Has been running very well in defeat and should go very well again here.

RACE 7

WILD BEE (12) - Has been disappointing but from a good barrier here should get the right run and is capable of winning this on better form.
RAPID FIRE (2) - Better effort last time when returning to Class 5 and can hold form now.
GOLDEN THUNDER (1) - Back to the 1000m but should be strong late here. If they overdo things upfront he could get home over the top.
WELL DESERVED (3) - Back into Class 5 grade now and can improve. Unfortunate draw (10/12 if emergencies don't run) but expect improvement.

RACE 8

PRIME TIME (10) - Had to dig deep to win last time out over slightly shorter, his trip looks ideal for him and is a horse with more to give. Can prove to be the better of the two Michael Clements pair in this.
RESTRAINED (1) - Kept giving in the closing stages last time out on local debut and can improve on that run in this.
THUNDER (5) - An interesting newcomer for the Tim Fitzsimmons stable. A winner at Taree in April, he has trialled well for a win most recently and if he can overcome a bad barrier, he is a player.
BUURAQ (9) - A nice win on turf last time out and can build on that but only Polytrack run (debut) was not quite as good. Interesting.

RACE 9

SIAM ROYAL ORCHID (7) - Isn't ideally suited stepping back in journey but has the ability to overcome. Will appreciate the booking of Vlad Duric, so expect a bold showing.
GOLDEN KID (6) - Hard to knock on recent efforts. Looking for three on the bounce and finds conditions to suit yet again. Major player.
CHOCANTE (3) - Has been struggling to win but will appreciate the drop in grade. Well drawn to perform so don't ignore. In the mix.
BARTIMAEUS (4) - Bounced back to winning form last start. This assignment is tougher but must be considered with a repeat dose.
