RACE 1

1st Pick: CLASSIFIED (1) Experienced campaigner who has been struggling to win but will appreciate the drop in grade. Well drawn to perform and gets in well at the weights with a kilogram claim.
2nd Pick: JK FORMIDABLE (3) Handy performer who has developed a respectable record in a short career. Well drawn to be hard on the speed and is capable of giving a sight. Major player.
3rd Pick: PEARL KING (5) Has been tending to mix form but career credentials demand respect. Versatile enough to handle the step back in journey so keep safe for the minor end.
4th Pick: OVERCOMING (4) Isn't ideally drawn but has the ability to contend a race of this nature. Needs the right breaks but must be considered with even luck.

RACE 2

1st Pick: THE BROTHERHOOD (9) Has been knocking on the door. The rise in journey is a big positive and the booking of Lerner adds further to that. Will take beating with even luck.
2nd Pick: POROSHIRI (12) Performed satisfactorily on debut. Switches to the Poly surface which should be a positive given his trial on the surface prior to debut. Major player with the race run to suit.
3rd Pick: MISTER DYNAMO (2) Tapered off last preparation but resumes for a new stable. Has ability but would need to lift on recent efforts. Worth thought.
4th Pick: THE WILD BUNCH (10) On debut. Has trialled sufficiently in the lead-up to this assignment so keep safe. Monitor market.

RACE 3

1st Pick: HOTSHOTS SLAM (9) Was brave in defeat first-up. Will strip fitter for this assignment and the decision to remove the blinkers from the stable must be respected. Expect a bold showing.
2nd Pick: CHALAZA (1) Experienced campaigner who won't know himself in this grade. Class performer who is capable of fighting out the finish with the right breaks. Major player.
3rd Pick: TYSON (2) Hasn't been far from the mark in recent efforts. Has had a stable change and also switches surface which appears to be no problem. Worth thought at longer odds.
4th Pick: ROYAL PAVILION (10) Hard to knock on recent efforts. Well suited over the T/D and has the lightweight to contend. In the mix.

RACE 4

1st Pick: GIANT KILLING (1) Can lead/ race near the pace here and finds an easier race. With the claim for Kok should take plenty of running down. Top pick.
2nd Pick: YULONG HOLY FLYING (6) Duric goes aboard here and is coming off it's best run in some time. Can go close.
3rd Pick: SCOOTER (10) Will roll forward and give a good sight from the front, include.
4th Pick: HOOGA NET (3) Better effort last start and can hold form now, worth respecting

RACE 5

1st Pick: AFALONHRO (1) Looks too good for these and likely to start an odds on favourite. Looked to winner on debut but was beaten by a very good ride on eventual winner Perfect. Can top one better.
2nd Pick: MY MONEY (11) Racing in consistent fashion. The bulk of it's recent form is in Class 5 though and still a maiden after 24 runs.
3rd Pick: NOVA FACTOR (4) Improver here. Wide the trip last start and given no real chance. Expect good run from better draw.
4th Pick: INVISIBLE (6) Trainer change here. Appears only limited but can be competitive. Place claims.

RACE 6

1st Pick: DON'T WORRY (1) Been racing from poor barriers. Will jump from 6 of 12 here with the emergency out which should be okay. Can race on the speed and be in the finish.
2nd Pick: MY MIRACLE (12) Has had some time between runs and can freshen up well here. Off a rating of 28 now and on it's best can win.
3rd Pick: MAKE U FAMOUS (2) Honest Class 5 type suited over 1000m. Consider again with claim.
4th Pick: ALARANCH (7) 1000m Class 5 horse that can lead here. Weak late but will give a sight with Duric on.

RACE 7

1st Pick: GOLD KINGDOM (7) No reason he can't win again here. Just needs a good ride from barrier 1 coming from midfield. Top hope.
2nd Pick: CHAMPAGNE FINALE (1) May lead and will try to pinch this. Just had to do too much early work last time.
3rd Pick: ANGEL HALO (2) Disappointing last time but is capable of better, look for an improved run.
4th Pick: CARNELIAN (3) Backmarker that couldn't get into it last time. On her best she has claims but Zaki only 2% win strike rate last season is some concern.

RACE 8

1st Pick: ALTAIR (3) Still very lightly raced and must be open to further improvement yet. He chased to smart type last time and the handicapper has put him up 1 point for that effort and with the multiple champion on board, he looks a leading light here.
2nd Pick: AL GREEN (6) In good form with a class 4 win two runs back and a good 2nd last time out behind the smart My Dreamliner. He has good form over this trip and beyond and the fact he has found form once again makes him a solid chance to run well again. Each way player.
3rd Pick: UNCONQUERED (5) Up 7 points for a big all the way win under John Powell on December 6th, this is slightly more demanding, but he can be included to finish in the frame here.
4th Pick: REVOLUTION (1) The form figures don't make much appeal, but he is a point lower than his last win and if returning to something like his best, he can prove dangerous.

RACE 9

1st Pick: BOLD THRUSTER (3) Was a good winner last time over race rival Skywalk when still doing plenty wrong before and during the race, he is extremely talented and given that he perhaps still isn’t the finished product, he has a lot more still to give and the fact Vlad Duric remains on board is a massive plus.
2nd Pick: SURPASS NATURAL (9) Now 5 from 5 and continues to impress for trainer Leticia Dragon. Possibly his most impressive victory has come over this course and distance and that makes him a very interesting runner on his group race debut.
3rd Pick: RIVER RADIANCE (11) Mightily impressive in his last couple of wins and the peak of his powers are far from reached just yet. He deserves this chance at a much higher level judged on what form he has produced so far and may well proved ZL Mok with a first feature race win, if not here, then somewhere down the line.
4th Pick: SKYWALK (2) Ran a huge race when 2nd to Bold Thruster last time out and would certainly have benefitted for that outing after so long off games, the conditions suit him perfectly and there is every reason for another bold show in this the first feature of the year.

RACE 10

1st Pick: TAX FREE (7) A chance can be taken with this John O’Hara trained galloper, he is now down a couple of points and this looks an open race. Chance.
2nd Pick: EFFORTLESS (3) Perennial place getting and always seems to run his race every times he steps out at Kranji. A must for the exotics here.
3rd Pick: CALIFORNIA (9) Had to race wide last time and was far from disgraced in the process finishing 3rd. Still open to more improvement given he is lightly raced and this race looks to suit his needs.
4th Pick: DRONE (8) Now 6 points lower than his last success and would need to find form once again but if doing so, he is able to run well in this, although plenty is taken on trust.

RACE 11

1st Pick: SUPER POSH (2) This Logan trained galloper has bags of natural pace and that can be used to best effect in a race like this with the champion apprentices 2kg claim. Just 1 point higher than his last win, he has to be one of the more likely winners here.
2nd Pick: COUSTEAU (1) A winner of a class 4 three runs ago and now finds himself in a lesser grade with the champion jockey booked after a couple of starts back in class 3 grade.
3rd Pick: WELL DESERVED (8) Bolted up in a class 5 when last seen under Vlad Duric. This is tougher but it isn’t the strongest class 4 ever run and with the light weight, there is a case to be made for him in this.
4th Pick: SURGE (5) An interesting runner judged on his local debut 5th and might well offer up some value. Place claims.
