Updates on Stewards' follow-ups to Wednesday meeting
On Thursday, 02 January 2020, Mr J Ong advised that SIMBA (S John) had pulled up well and will endeavour to try and get the gelding to settle better in its races.

A veterinary examination on Thursday, 02 January 2020 revealed that FLAUNT (D Moor) had returned lame off (right) hind. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

On Thursday, 02 January 2020, Trainer S Baertschiger advised that HOTSHOTS SLAM (K A'Isisuhairi) may not have been suited by the pattern of racing on the day and will look to place the gelding in a turf race and ride more quietly.

On Thursday, 2 January 2020, revealed that INVINCIBLE MAN (N Zyrul) had returned lame near (left) foreleg. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

On Thursday, 02 January 2020, Mr. Graeme Forbes, Stable Representative for Trainer D Logan, advised that CHAMPAGNE FINALE (App WH Kok) may not have been suited by the pattern of racing on the day.

On Thursday, 02 January 2020, Trainer DL Freedman advised that HUNTSMAN (J Powell) was up in class and was not suited to the pattern of racing on the day.

On Thursday, 02 January 2020, Trainer C Brown advised that CONSTANT JUSTICE (M Rodd) was returning from a long break, was up in weight and will benefit from the run.
