Singapore racing best bets, race analysis looking at the full Singapore card Saturday, 1st February 2020 with selections & information on all the contenders.

RACE 1

1st Pick : SUPER WIN (8) Back up to 1200m suits here, lacked the early pace to contest the lead last start. Alysha Collett riding in good form, winning chance.
2nd Pick: PIONEER SEVEN (2) Old timer that has found form in Class 5, respect.
3rd Pick: ELITE BEAST (5) Racing well in this grade. Has had a few breathing issues but expect good run.
4th Pick: PEARL KING (7) On best can figure here and could be over the odds after running in strong Class 5 last start. Keep safe.

RACE 2

1st Pick : IN ALL HIS GLORY (3) Game on debut. Will take benefit from that experience so expect a bold showing here with conditions to suit. Major player.
2nd Pick: STORMY VIEW (11) Returned in good order. Will strip fitter for this assignment second-up and is capable of contesting the business end.
3rd Pick: KING'S COMMAND (5) Closed off in good order last start. Open to improvement, so don't dismiss. Worth considering.
4th Pick: LIM'S SPIN (6) On debut. Has trialled satisfactorily leading into this event so keep safe. Monitor market.

RACE 3

1st Pick : TIGRESS (6) Performed well over the track/distance last start. Finds conditions to suit and gets in well at the weights. Will take beating with even luck.
2nd Pick: THE NUTTER (1) Class dropper. Never the most reliable commodity but has talent for a race of this nature. Must be respected.
3rd Pick: ACE HARBOUR (4) Struggles to win but is never far from the mark. Worth thought on best career credentials.
4th Pick: HERO IN THE WIND (5) Has been struggling to win but is off a winnable rating. Needs things to go right but don't dismiss.

RACE 4

1st Pick : ENCHANTED MISTER (1) Hard to catch but brings a class edge to this event. Well drawn to get the right run and will take beating on best efforts. Top pick.
2nd Pick: CLARTON STAR (3) Has been a model of consistency and versatility in recent outings. Needs the right breaks but must be respected as a major player.
3rd Pick: PLUCKY LAD (2) Bounced back to winning form last start. This assignment is tougher but must be respected with a repeat dose.
4th Pick: WINS (5) Best of the rest. Worth considering for the minor end.

RACE 5

1st Pick : SACRED GIFT (1) Impressive type that has looked good winning both starts here in Singapore. Rolls forward from the gate and no reason he can’t win again. Looks progressive.
2nd Pick: SURGE (2) Nice win last time and has trialled extremely well since. Can lead here and will be hard to get past.
3rd Pick: FULIFE BRILLIANCE (3) Caught wide last start and forgive that run. Capable of improving sharply here, place chance.
4th Pick: CALIFORNIA (8) Honest horse. Is not overly big but has been kept up to the mark with recent trial. Worth including.

RACE 6

1st Pick : MY HORSE (1) Ready to win a Class 5. Has the tactical speed to make his own luck here, may have the option to lead. Sure to be in the finish.
2nd Pick: BRING ME JOY (10) Racing well. Expect another bold showing down in the weights.
3rd Pick: TRY MAK MAK (2) Coming into this off a handy last start win. Hakim Kamaruddin rides again, 4kgs off is handy.
4th Pick: FIGHT FOR GLORY (4) First run this year. In the strength of recent form should run well.

RACE 7

1st Pick : BLUESTONE (4) Lightly-raced type who has indicated good ability in limited starts. Returns here from a break so monitor parade/market.
2nd Pick: SACRED JUDGEMENT (2) Performed well on debut. Will take plenty of benefit from that experience and will strip fitter here. Major player.
3rd Pick: BRIGHT ALMIGHTY (1) Ready to peak. Finds conditions to suit and is well drawn to get the right run. Must be included.
4th Pick: ROMANTIC (7) Has been frustrating to follow but is worth considering under the right circumstances. In the mix.

RACE 8

1st Pick : LIM'S CRAFT (1) Classy galloper that should have gone close to winning the EW Barker Trophy when luckless. Has a dynamic turn of foot. He will need that from a bad barrier with 59kgs but he’s very bold. To hold out here on the long course.
2nd Pick: FEDERATION (2) Gets the lovely run from a nice barrier and has won 4 from 10 races here in Singapore. Must respect.
3rd Pick: ELITE INCREDIBLE (5) Been gelded this preparation. Has trialled in good fashion and did place in the Group 1 Singapore Guineas as a 3yo.
4th Pick: SIAM WARRIOR (7) Dominant Class 4 winner last start. Tougher here rising in points but not out of it.

RACE 9

1st Pick : LEGEND ROCKS (7) Hard to knock on recent efforts. Comes out of strong form lines for this event and finds conditions to suit. Expect a bold showing.
2nd Pick: CIRCUIT STAR (5) Broke maiden status last start. This a step-up in grade but has the upside to improve again. Major player.
3rd Pick: BUSHIDO (4) Hasn't been far from the mark. Well drawn to take up a prominent role and is capable of giving a sight. In the mix.
4th Pick: SUPERNOVA (1) Has been struggling to win but career credentials warrant respect. Worth thought.

RACE 10

1st Pick : STREET CRY SUCCESS (1) Grade dropper that looks suited here in Class 4. Gets a perfect run from barrier No 4 and there looks enough speed upfront for him to switch off and relax. If he does that, he will sprint powerfully here.
2nd Pick: QUANTUM (3) Should have won last start when first up off a bleed. Fitter here.
3rd Pick: CHOCANTE (2) Disappointing last time. May improve on the turf.
4th Pick: LINCOLN COUNTY (6) Worth monitoring the betting with this horse (blinkers on). Nice effort last start and ready to win soon.
