On Saturday, 01 February 2020, Trainer M Walker, advised that SACRED REBEL (V Duric) had pulled up well, and agreed with Jockey V Duric's assessment on the gelding's disappointing performance. He will continue with its preparation, adding that he will step the gelding up in distance at its next start, as it may have found this race too short. Due to its poor performance, it will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial from the barrier and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again for poor performance.
