RACE 1

1st Pick : SPUR ME ON (9) - Continues in good form over less than ideal distances and is nicely weighted here to get his head back in front.
2nd Pick: ANGEL HALO (3) - Is in good order and represents a stable who had a winner last week, has been getting close to winning another and is a leading chance in this heat.
3rd Pick: SCOOTER (11) - A lightweight chance judged on his recent form with only 50kgs to shoulder.
4th Pick: SPORTSCASTER (2) - An interesting runner on the pick of his form for the leading handler.

RACE 2

1st Pick : MAN OF MYSTERY (3) - Was good in defeat last time out when third in a handy race and is the mount of Simon Kok Wei Hoong here. Every chance.
2nd Pick: SUN STEP (9) - A solid performance off this mark last time out should give him a sound chance over the same course and distance here.
3rd Pick: PINDUS (4) - Has nicely got his act together in recent runs and must be included in the multiples here.
4th Pick: STAR KNIGHT (1) - On his last winning handicap mark of 67 and is one of the more interesting runners in the field.

RACE 3

1st Pick : OVERCOMING (2) - Been consistent since coming back into this grade. Not the bravest horse but finds another winnable affair.
2nd Pick: DREAMWEAVER (1) - No wins from 21 starts on the Polytrack but has run some good races. Trialed well recently, chance here.
3rd Pick: UNCLE LUCKY (7) - Good effort last start when in the worst part of the track, improver.
4th Pick: TWILL GUY (4) - Coming off career best performance. Can train on now.

RACE 4

1st Pick : GLOBAL KID (1) - Showed improvement last start. Still isn't the finished article but is progressing nicely and has the class to take care of this field. Will take beating.
2nd Pick: FIELD MARSHAL (4) - Lightly-raced and has the upside to continue to improve. Isn't ideally drawn but has the ability to overcome and contest the business end. Major player.
3rd Pick: THUNDER (5) - Has ability and finds a suitable enough race. Will need everything to go right from the wide draw but is still untapped here in Singapore. Worth thought.
4th Pick: CENTURION (7) - Appears ready to win but this assignment is tougher than last start. Capable of figuring on best efforts, so is worth considering in the mix.

RACE 5

1st Pick : GENTLEMEN AGREEMENT (7) - This Shane Baertschiger-trained 5yo has gone close on a couple of recent outings and this can prove a good opportunity to win another one. Leading chance.
2nd Pick: SUPERLATIVE (6) - Perhaps didn't beat a great deal on second start when winning over 1200m, but looks the type to keep improving from this stable.
3rd Pick: LAI MAK (5) - Likeable old 8yo who won his seventh race last time out in willing fashion. Vlad Duric is booked here and should give his running off 5 points higher.
4th Pick: AXEL (1) - Has decent course and distance form and can be thrown into the mix for the exotics.

RACE 6

1st Pick : ALTAIR (2) - A very smart 4yo who continues to improve with racing and added a turf win to some good Polytrack wins and is now up in trip to 1400m. The trip shouldn't pose a problem and if in the same form here, he will take some stopping.
2nd Pick: PER INPOWER (11) - Now up 24 points for four wins over the course and distance and was a winner in this grade. He has beaten some nice types and the ceiling of his ability has yet to reached. Leading hope.
3rd Pick: REAL SUCCESS (3) - Sixth in the Singapore Gold Cup and is back here nice and fresh. He is a course and distance winner and Vlad Duric is back on board. A bold show can be expected here.
4th Pick: SIAM BLUE VANDA (10) - Another Michael Clements runner in the field and is also fresh having won a Class 3 back in November. He is open to plenty of improvement and would be no surprise to see him take the next step up.

RACE 7

1st Pick : ARC TRIUMPH (1) - In what looks an open sort of race, it might prove worthwhile going with the top weight here, who is only 1 point higher than his last two successes off of 66. John Powell gets on well with him and he can go well.
2nd Pick: SUPER SIX (2) - The return to this grade for this 9yo is a big plus and will run his race and the booking of Michael Rodd also provides a tick in the right box.
3rd Pick: COUNTRY BOSS (3) - Not too bad last time out and should be there or thereabouts again.
4th Pick: IMPERIUM (7) - Is an each-way chance on his best form and the run last time out when sixth was better than it looked on paper.

RACE 8

1st Pick : WATER ROCKET (4) - An increasingly upwardly mobile galloper who has won his last two starts and a trial in preparation for this task. Now has Ryan Munger in the saddle and should go extremely close again here with conditions to suit.
2nd Pick: RISE OF EMPIRE (9) - Good Restricted Maiden win last time out and the form has been franked by the third that day (Shanti), having won last weekend. Certainly has plenty of scope and his chance is a serious one here.
3rd Pick: SILENT PARTNER (1) - Quite appropriate that the horse formerly known as Brexit Time is running shortly after January 31st. Silent Partner as he is known now can run a big race here on the back of a good run over course and distance to the useful Strong N Powerful.
4th Pick: THUNDER DRAGON (8) - The pick of the rest for the frame judged on the balance of his form over this trip and was good last time around when fourth. Each-way hope.
