Singapore racing best bets, race analysis looking at the full Singapore card Friday, 13th March 2020 with selections & information on all the contenders.

RACE 1

1st Pick : ADMIRAL WINSTON (1) - Has been a frustrating commodity in recent outings but finds his most suitable assignment this year. Will take beating on best efforts.
2nd Pick: TRIGAMY (7) - Has been knocking on the door in recent outings. Looks the likely leader in this affair and is capable of fighting out the finish.
3rd Pick: MISTER DYNAMO (8) - Pipped right on the post last time out. Will go forward and make his own luck and is capable of giving a sight.
4th Pick: JUMPIN JACK (3) - Has been struggling to perform but is now off a suitable rating to get competitive. Worth including in the mix.

RACE 2

1st Pick : COMING FAST (6) - Won a Pakenham trial in June 2019 before being exported to Singapore. Liked latest trial where hard held and strikes a winnable race.
2nd Pick: GOLD PRIZE (7) - Met Coming Fast in recent trial and won in 61.79. Was put under more pressure but still a strong winning chance here.
3rd Pick: CLERGYMAN (4) - Resumes. Not fully tested in two trials and did enough last preparation to warrant serious respect.
4th Pick: QIJI FLYER (2) - Disappointing last start after two sound runs prior. Could improve, place claims.

RACE 3

1st Pick : THOMAS DE LAGO (8) - Hard to knock on recent efforts. Awkwardly drawn but will take beating with even luck. Top pick in a competitive race.
2nd Pick: LIM'S KNIGHT (2) - Has been knocking on the door. Looks ready to win again and finds a very suitable assignment to do so. Major player.
3rd Pick: CALIFORNIA (11) - Was part of a speed duel last start but still performed satisfactorily. Can make amends with the race run to suit, so don't dismiss.
4th Pick: HEALTHY STAR (7) - Lightly-raced and has the upside to continue to improve. Can make his own luck on speed and must be considered.

RACE 4

1st Pick : BEAUTY SPIRIT (1) - Into Class 5 for the first time after contesting Restricted Maidens in her first seven starts. Concern is the return to 1100m but in weaker grade, can finish over the top of them.
2nd Pick: BRING ME JOY (4) - In good form and draws better than when he won last start. Rises 3kgs but can win again.
3rd Pick: MY WIN (3) - Drawn to contest the lead and can give a sight. Would prefer at 1000m, though.
4th Pick: LUCKY RED (8) - Good effort behind Bring Me Joy last start and meets that horse better at the weights.

RACE 5

1st Pick : QUARTER BACK (3) - Has been struggling to win but has been racing in stronger races than what he meets here. Can make amends in a suitable race, so expect a bold showing.
2nd Pick: FEDERATION (2) - Hard to knock on recent efforts. John Powell knows this horse well and can get the best out of him. Major player under the right circumstances.
3rd Pick: GOLD STAR (9) - Has been struggling to win but has been running honest races. Will have no problem with the rise in journey and can be competitive yet again.
4th Pick: HELIOSPHERE (1) - Returns to this assignment first-up from a break. Monitor parade and market to get the best guide.

RACE 6

1st Pick : SHANTI (10) - Tough filly that has been given time and a trial since winning RM in 1.09.99 from a wide gate. Gets a nice run in this affair and with the weight advantage, is hard to beat.
2nd Pick: WAR PRIDE (3) - Likely leader that has improved since the blinkers went on two starts back. Will be hard to get past here.
3rd Pick: KIMITONARA (4) - Has options from a good barrier and good form around Mr Malek. Must be included. Like many here, untried at 1400m.
4th Pick: YOU QIAN ZHUAN (8) - Disappointing last time but may improve over further here, keep safe.

RACE 7

1st Pick : LEATHERHEAD (8) - Grabbed right on the line last start when looking all over a winner inside the concluding stages. Top pick judged off that performance.
2nd Pick: DAZZLE GOLD (1) - Has returned in great order this preparation. Ready to peak third-up and is capable of fighting out the finish.
3rd Pick: LEGEND ROCKS (2) - Worth forgiving last start. Capable of bouncing back with the switch in surface. Worth thought.
4th Pick: HELUSHKA (7) - Hard to knock on recent efforts. Looking for three on the bounce, so must be considered with a repeat dose.

RACE 8

1st Pick : SACRED GIFT (2) - Covered plenty of ground last start when four wide no cover. Was a good effort the finish third. Can atone here.
2nd Pick: DIAMOND RUSH (4) - Got tired first-up at 1200m. Better suited here 1000m and has trialled well on the Polytrack. Improver.
3rd Pick: DIAMONDS (1) - Has struggled in stronger grade, could improve here dropping to Class 4.
4th Pick: GOOD LUCK CHARM (13) - Speedy horse suited back to 1000m. Could hang on for a place if he gains entry into the field.
