Yusoff stood down, should be back next week

3 minute read

Apprentice jockey Yusoff Fadzli had to give up his six rides this Sunday after he suffered a minor injury at the barriers on Friday morning.

Donna Logan's apprentice was jumping out one of his boss's young horses, who unfortunately played up and stamped his hoof on Yusoff's left leg in the process.

The Malaysian rider hurt his calf muscles, but thankfully nothing is broken and is expected to make his comeback next week.

In the meantime, his six rides have been reallocated as follows:

Race 1 No 12 Boom Almighty: Chin Chee Seng

Race 2 No 10 Pasir Pinji: Shafrizal Saleh

Race 5 No 11 Ping Pong: Hakim Kamaruddin

Race 11 No 2 Good Luck Charm: Hakim Kamaruddin

Race 12 No 11 Lim's Samurai: Chin Chee Seng

Race 14 No 12 Champagne Finale: Hakim Kamaruddin
