RACE 3 [TF565]

On Monday, 17 August 2020, Trainer D Meagher advised that in his opinion VETRI (R Woodworth) had been left without a finishing effort after being obliged to race wide throughout.  He added that the horse had pulled up well and he will continue with its current preparation.

RACE 5 [TF567]

A veterinary examination on Monday, 17 August 2020 revealed that NINGALOO (R Woodworth) had returned lame off (right) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

RACE 6 [TF0568] 

On Monday, 17 August 2020, Trainer R Le Grange could offer no explanation for the performance of WATER ROCKET (R Woodworth) adding the horse had pulled up well and he will continue with its current preparation.

A veterinary examination on Monday, 17 August 2020 revealed that LORD O'REILLY (TH Koh) had returned lame near (left) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

RACE 7 [TF0569]

On Monday, 17 August 2020, Trainer C Brown advised that in his opinion GOLD CITY (JP Van Der Merwe), which was racing first up from a spell, will derive benefit from the run. He added that the horse had pulled up well and he will continue with its current preparation.

On Monday, 17 August 2020, Trainer S Burridge advised that in his opinion DIAMOND MINE (App WH Kok) was not suited after finding itself racing further forward than normal and the horse appeared to resent racing between other runners. He added that he will continue with the current preparation.

RACE 8 [TF0570]

On Monday, 17 August 2020, Trainer M Walker advised that in his opinion BLACK QUAIL (App K Hakim) had resented the Norton Bit it had carried and he would now look to experiment with the gear carried by the gelding.  He added that he will continue with the current preparation.

RACE 12 [TF0574]

On Monday, 17 August 2020, Trainer R Le Grange could offer no explanation for the performance of KING LOUIS (R Woodworth) other than the horse had returned with minor abrasions to the left hind. He added that the horse had pulled up well and he will continue with the current preparation.

RACE 13 [TF0575]

On Monday, 17 August 2020, "B" Trainer SH Low could offer no explanation for the performance of LUCK OF MASTER (R Maia) adding the horse had pulled up well and the Stable will continue with the current preparation.

RACE 14 [TF0576]

On Monday, 17 August 2020, Trainer J Peters advised that in his opinion FREY (JP Van Der Merwe) may be better suited racing on the Polytrack and was not suited by the fast tempo in the race. He added that he will look to bring the horse back in distance and look for a suitable race on the Polytrack.
