On Monday, 24 August 2020, Trainer S Baertschiger advised that in his opinion MR SHOWMAN (M Kellady) had failed to handle the track conditions. He added the gelding had lost its off-hind plate during the event.

A veterinary examination on Monday, 24 August 2020 revealed that FREE FALLIN' (M Kellady) had returned lame off (right) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

On Monday, 24 August 2020, Trainer M Clements advised that in his opinion IRON RULER (App WH Kok) had failed to handle the track conditions. He added the gelding had raced very one paced and he would look to step the horse up in distance.

On Monday, 24 August 2020, Trainer M Walker could offer no explanation for the performance of SACRED GIFT (M Lerner) adding the gelding had pulled up well and he would now look to experiment with blinkers on the horse.

On Monday, 24 August 2020, "B" Trainer SH Lee advised that in his opinion LEGEND OF THE SUN (L Beuzelin) is better suited when racing on turf. He added the horse had pulled up well and the Stable will continue with the current preparation.

On Monday, 24 August 2020, Trainer D Logan advised that in her opinion QIJI ACHEEVA (R Maia) had failed to handle the track conditions. She added the Stable will continue with the current preparation.

On Monday, 24 August 2020, Trainer DL Freedman advised that in his opinion LUCKY IMPERATOR (K A'Isisuhairi) had to work too hard in the early stages to obtain the lead and as a result was left without a finishing effort. He added the horse had pulled up well and he will continue with the current preparation.

On Monday, 24 August 2020, Trainer KY Young could offer no explanation for the performance of MY DREAMLINER (I Azhar) other than it had raced keenly and raced flat in the straight. He added the gelding had pulled up well and he would continue with the current preparation.
