On Monday, 26 October, Trainer S Gray advised that in his opinion HARD TO THINK (WH Kok) had no luck during the event after having difficulty obtaining clear running before striking interference near the 150m. He added that the horse had pulled up well and he will continue with the current preparation.

On Monday, 26 October 2020, Trainer J O'Hara advised that in his opinion FAME STAR (M Lerner) did not appreciate the fast tempo and being taken on in the lead. He added that the horse had pulled up well and the Stable will continue with the current preparation.

On Monday, 26 October 2020, Trainer DL Freedman advised that in his opinion EXCELLING (K A'Isisuhairi) was not suited by the fast tempo of the event. He added that he will now freshen the horse up before continuing with the preparation.
RACE 11 [TF0880]
On Monday, 26 October 2020, Trainer S Baertschiger advised that in his opinion GENTLEMEN AGREEMENT (J Powell) had to work too hard in the early stages after being slow to begin under the big weight and as a result was left without a finishing effort. He added that he will now look to either step the horse up in grade or use a claiming rider next start to get some weight relief.

A veterinary examination on Monday, 26 October 2020 revealed that WATER ROCKET (V Duric) had returned lame off (right) hind. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial from the barriers and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.
