RACE 1

1st Pick: ALL WE KNOW (11) - A terrible race to kick-start Gold Cup day, but a chance is taken with All We Know on only his second go at Class 5 level.
2nd Pick: STAR EFFECT (1) - An in-form runner and also stays further than this trip, can prove tough to peg back if able to lead.
3rd Pick: FIGHT TO VICTORY (12) - Now up five points for winning last time out and should go well again. Must include.
4th Pick: CRU BOURGEOIS (7) - A very interesting runner if he puts it all together.

RACE 2

1st Pick: LIM'S UNIQUE (4) - This lightly-raced galloper has shown enough to suggest he can claim a race like this.
2nd Pick: SUN ELIZABETH (12) - This mare goes well enough at this low level and can make her presence felt in this.
3rd Pick: BARBARIAN (7) - The excellent Ruan Maia is back on board and it wouldn't shock to see a bold run.
4th Pick: DAVID'S STAR (10) - Goes well fresh and can surprise here. Each-way value.

RACE 3

1st Pick: MCGREGOR (4) - This old boy is now down to a very winnable mark and has trialled well for this. A good draw and Ruan Maia are both ticks in the right boxes.
2nd Pick: ATLAS (7) - Very good in defeat last time out behind Imperium and even though he is drawn wide here, he can go very close if he overcomes it.
3rd Pick: KINABALU WARRIOR (10) - Arrived late and fast to win Restricted Maiden over a furlong shorter. The extra trip can suit and looks upwardly mobile.
4th Pick: LEATHERHEAD (3) - Disappointing last time out but has the ability and has trialled well. Stable in form.

RACE 4

1st Pick: RISE OF EMPIRE (4) - This four-year-old won with something in hand last time out when bolting up and has gone up six points for that. He has more to do going forward but is very progressive indeed.
2nd Pick: HEAVENLY DANCER (3) - A smart youngster who has done nothing wrong so far and should be right in the shake-up here.
3rd Pick: MIEJ (9) - Hacked up in an Open Maiden when last seen. He has only had three runs to date and does look the type to go forward for the Michael Clements barn. A must for the multiples.
4th Pick: STREET CRY SUCCESS (1) - Down the field in the Group 1 Lion City Cup on latest start. These are calmer waters and he should be respected here.

RACE 5

1st Pick: SURE WILL DO (3) - In what is a super little Novice event, it can pay to side with Sure Will Do who looks very smart on the back of an Open Maiden win. He is better than the bare form of that victory and looks a talented horse in the making.
2nd Pick: DAY APPROACH (7) - A bold win last time and won't mind dropping back in trip here. From a powerful stable and should go very close.
3rd Pick: BOOMBA (12) - Excellent on debut but then let his followers down next time on better ground, and rain beforehand will enhance the chance of this Cliff Brown-trained runner and that could well happen.
4th Pick: BRUTUS (1) - Has been ultra-consistent and that resulted in a nice win last start, this is tougher but he can certainly run very well.

RACE 6

1st Pick: ON LINE (3) - Was being aimed at the Singapore Gold Cup. Presented well last time out but peaked on his run. Should be thereabouts.
2nd Pick: PER INPOWER (2) - Bounced back to form at his last start. Drops back in class and carries big mass. First time over 2000m. Take on trust.
3rd Pick: LUCK OF MASTER (5) - Scored impressively last time out. Enjoyed the rain-affected track. Chance if it rains again.
4th Pick: AXEL (8) - Solid third to Senor Don at his last start. Blinkers replaced with visors. Threat if he stays.

RACE 7

1st Pick: IRON RULER (6) - Scored an easy win at his last outing. Has trained on and maps out well for this race. Can double the dose.
2nd Pick: CENTENARY DIAMOND (2) - Lost no marks last time. Faces similar opposition. Has a nice turn of foot and will be hard to beat if he gets the right breaks from the wide alley.
3rd Pick: STREET PARTY (11) - Has ability but just can't quite put his races to bed. Not proven over course and distance, but worth including in trifecta if in the mood.
4th Pick: IRONCHAMP (5) - Given every chance in front but punctured late. Reverts to turf, which he seems to handle better. Can spring a surprise.

RACE 8

1st Pick: LOYALTY MAN (1) - Found the 1800m a bit far last time out. This is easier. Apprentice claim helps. Bold chance in this.
2nd Pick: SINCERELY (5) - Better was expected from him second-up, but he didn't disappoint either. Listed winner over the mile in France. Go close.
3rd Pick: THREEANDFOURPENCE (4) - Found the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup (1800m) too rich. This is more up his alley. Include in calculations.
4th Pick: KARISTO (2) - Doesn't win out of turn but seldom finishes far from the top end. Trackwork has been smart and another forward showing is on the cards.

RACE 9

1st Pick: PATTAYA (5) - Is in very good form currently and even though he is drawn wide, he can hopefully overcome that hurdle and go close. Louis-Philippe Beuzelin is back on board here and conditions suit. Bold show.
2nd Pick: BLITZING (1) - The drop in grade is a huge plus point for this ex-Hong Kong-trained six-year-old, and can improve on local form shown so far.
3rd Pick: GENTLEMEN AGREEMENT (2) - It is worth forgetting and forgiving his last run and judged on previous form, he can play a part in this.
4th Pick: TAX FREE (7) - Better on the All-Weather but has run well on the turf before. One for the quartet.

RACE 10

1st Pick: TOP KNIGHT (1) - Class act of the race. First time over 2000m but trainer is convinced he can see it out. Showed he could handle the heavy going in Queen Elizabeth II Cup. Only query is him giving weight all round, but 57kgs is not that back-breaking. Will be running on at the business end.
2nd Pick: MR CLINT (3) - Title holder who revelled in the bog track of the Queen Elizabeth II Cup. Will appreciate the extra 200m. Peaking at the right time. Won't surprise if he goes back-to-back.
3rd Pick: GOLD STRIKE (8) - Genuine staying chance. Runner-up to Mr Clint last year. Low draw will give him every chance for an economical run throughout. May not have the class of a Top Knight, but don't underestimate him.
4th Pick: ARAMAAYO (2) - Dual Group 1 winner. Put up a gallant run in the Queen Elizabeth II Cup. Seems more effective over mile. Has drawn the widest. Might be caught wide early, which could soften him up inside the concluding stages. Will still make presence felt.

RACE 11

1st Pick: CHARGER (14) - Surprise second to Rocket Star at his last run. Seems to have developed more stamina with maturity. Will relish extra 200m even if he is yet to open his account over seven furlongs. This is harder but it's worth taking a punt on him.
2nd Pick: PAX ANIMI (3) - Tested twice at Group level but was out of his depth. Needs something easier like this. Solid claims if they roll along upfront.
3rd Pick: LIM'S CRAFT (4) - No clear run first-up. Will strip fitter for this. Improved run expected.
4th Pick: MR HOOPER (10) - Made ground late at his last start. Faces stiff opposition but can measure up in this.
