RACE 1

1st Pick: SKY EYE (2) Yet to win one but in good form. Has recently moved to Jerome Tan and the booking of Ruan Maia is a massive plus. Should go very close.
2nd Pick: SUPER TALENT (7) Nice win last time out and is now five points higher in the weights. Another bold show expected.
3rd Pick: M ELEVEN (6) Much better than this level early on in his career. Made all to win last time and is one to include here.
4th Pick: RED CLAW (4) Can prove the each-way value in a race like this.

RACE 2

1st Pick: TIGER LEAP (3) This Steven Burridge-trained maiden has continued to progress with every start and looks ready to land one right about now.
2nd Pick: SPECIAL OPS (2) Disappointing on the face of his last time out and need to put that behind him. Has plenty of form in the book now and is a leading player here.
3rd Pick: ALEXANDER HORATIO (1) Has been there or thereabouts in a few starts now and looks to have plenty of stamina. A must for the exotics in this.
4th Pick: STRONG N BEST (11) A pleasing debut after starting slowly and with an extra furlong to run over here, he can be seen to good effect.

RACE 3

1st Pick: GOLDEN ONE (4) Last-start winner who was scratched from Aushorse Golden Horseshoe. Recorded a convincing win at his last start with blinkers on. Rise to mile should not pose any problem. Leading chance.
2nd Pick: SO HI CLASS (1) Drops back in class and distance. On best form, he can dominate this lot. Commands respect against easier opposition even if sticky alley is a question mark.
3rd Pick: SABAH STAR (8) Has struck a rich vein of form but faces stronger rivals here. Low weight will help his cause. Nice barrier. Can fight out the finish.
4th Pick: ATLAS (5) Solid second to Imperium two runs back but flopped at next start. Overraced but that can't totally exonerate him from the bad run. Prepared to put a line through that run. Outside chance.

RACE 4

1st Pick: MR SHOWMAN (1) Very hard to look past and should be very hard to beat.
2nd Pick: GOLD SPIRIT (2) Returning after a bleed and hails from a good stable. Can give the favourite most to do.
3rd Pick: PERFECT ME (3) Seventh only seven days ago and has seen enough to suggest he can get competitive here.
4th Pick: ASSASSIN (9) The ride of champion jockey Vlad Duric. Might be worth including.

RACE 5

1st Pick: VOLUMINOUS (12) Staying mare who was just pipped by better-fancied stablemate Iron Ruler last Saturday. On the quick back-up and if she has her way in front, she will be hard to get past.
2nd Pick: GLOBAL KID (6) Every chance at his last start but stayed one-paced when called upon. Can do better than this. Improvement expected.
3rd Pick: SHEPHERD'S HYMN (5) First test over 2000m but gives every indication it won't be an issue. In sparkling form. Go close.
4th Pick: LARRY (3) Grows another leg in such long-distance events. Scored two of three wins over 2000m. Can't be left out of the equation.

RACE 6

1st Pick: PRIME TIME (3) A nice horse and will strip fitter for that first-up run 21 days ago. A most impressive winner back in April over this course and distance and with Vlad Duric booked, he can run a mighty race.
2nd Pick: KHARISMA (2) An excellent ride for Winston Cheah Wei Wen to pick up here and is in super form with two recent wins. This is tougher but he can certainly go close again to winning. 3rd Pick: GOLDEN FLAME (1) Has a good record in this grade and was only a length off the winner last start. Conditions suit him here and the stable had a winner last week. One for the multiples.
4th Pick: WATER ROCKET (4) Has trialled well on the back of a very below-par effort when last seen. The booking of Ruan Maia for the stable is very eye-catching. One to watch the market in this.

RACE 7

1st Pick: HARD TOO THINK (3) Looked home and hosed last start but Royal Pavilion flashed past and beat him fair and square. Has drawn an alley. There is only 1.5kgs turnaround this time, but he can exact revenge on Royal Pavilion.
2nd Pick: ROYAL PAVILION (2) Impressive when stepped up to the mile last time out. Has drawn off the track but as he drops back, it won't be much of a setback.
3rd Pick: MARIKH (10) Scored by a big margin at maiden win. Takes on much stronger lot but carries a significantly lighter load. Can hold his own here.
4th Pick: CENTENARY DIAMOND (1) Left standing when Buddy exploded away last time. Always one who can make presence felt. Has maintained same form and should be included in calculations here.

RACE 8

1st Pick: SIAM WARRIOR (2) Lost his way but bounced back to form at his last start when a fast-finishing third to Magic Wand. Could have won if launched earlier. Nice barrier. Gets his chance in this.
2nd Pick: MINI FORCE X (5) Dual Group 1 winner in New Zealand who then went through a quieter spell in Australia when transferred to David Hayes. Ran at the elite level in Melbourne but could not quite cut the mustard. Seems to have settled in well. Marble one. Interesting runner first-up.
3rd Pick: QUARTER BACK (4) Found Class 2 and Group 3 level a bit rich at his last few runs. This is more up his alley. Not without claims even if the wide barrier is a query.
4th Pick: LIM'S PASSION (12) Made stacks of ground at his last outing. Two-kilo claim brings his weight down to 52.5kgs. Blinkers on and tongue-tied. Won't surprise if he comes testing the favourites in the last furlong.

RACE 9

1st Pick: SINCERELY (10) Progressive sort who has run only one bad race in four starts. Will be at his first Polytrack test here. Won once on the all-weather (fibresand) in France. Nice barrier and low weight will give him every chance. Can give leading stable and outgoing rider a fitting finale.
2nd Pick: PENNYWISE (1) Last year's winner peaking at the right time. Finds a couple of lengths on the Polytrack. Big-hearted runner who won't shirk a fight in the straight. Top run in store.
3rd Pick: ELITE INCREDIBLE (11) Funnily, he's an Argentinian-bred having his first taste of Polytrack racing here. Lost no marks in the Singapore Gold Cup. Should enjoy a nice run in transit from barrier one. If he handles the surface, he will give favourites something to worry about.
4th Pick: SKY ROCKET (5) Form had deserted him but he sprang a major upset on a soft track last start. Previous run on a waterlogged Polytrack over the mile was not as good. Deserves consideration if he brings his A-game.

RACE 10

1st Pick: BE YOU (10) A smart talent going forward and should take the world of stopping here.
2nd Pick: STYLE (3) Interesting newcomer from France via Hong Kong. Has won over further in France at decent track but looks the type to sprint well fresh.
3rd Pick: HEADHUNTER (5) Good in defeat last time out and a repeat of that will see him go well in this finale.
4th Pick: CRYSTAL DRAGON (9) Lightly-raced Restricted Maiden winner and has trialed well. Not one to leave out of the numbers.
