RACE 1

1st Pick: TIGER LEAP (7) Knocking on the door. Comes from off the pace. Should be thereabouts.
2nd Pick: STAR EFFECT (5) Quieter riding tactics produced a closing third place last start. Won only race by leading. Will be in the mix.
3rd Pick: CAVALLA COURT (2) It's been close to a year since his first and only win. Struggling to find the line. Ruan Maia may find a couple of extra lengths in him. Keep safe.
4th Pick: EL MACHO (12) Flew home for third over 1400m at his fifth start. Will relish extra 200m. Include in calculations.

RACE 2

1st Pick: BEN WADE (4) A newcomer from the family of Tannhauser and has trialled nicely enough for this debut. In what is not a deep race, he should be able to figure here.
2nd Pick: ENTERTAINER (1) Form has eased off a bit from early promise but can go well in this lesser contest.
3rd Pick: EIGHT BALL (10) Very poor effort on debut when last of 12 in December. Has won a trial since and can show improved form.
4th Pick: SHOWBOUND (2) The run back in September is good enough form to expect a bold show at odds.

RACE 3

1st Pick: TRADING POST (2) Smart four-year-old resuming. Didn't quite measure up in the Singapore Guineas. This is easier. Can go well fresh.
2nd Pick: MR SHOWMAN (11) Will be hard to beat if he reproduces his last run even if this is a tougher contest. Should be able to cross from his awkward alley and lead.
3rd Pick: PATTAYA (6) Honest sort who will be looming up at the business end. Marble one. Won't be far off when the whips are cracking.
4th Pick: CHAMPAGNE FINALE (9) Beat a smart field last time out, including the much-hyped Sure Will Do. Low draw. No reason why he can't give this a shake again.

RACE 4

1st Pick: SUN COUNCIL (3) Was running on well when last seen and is now up in trip for this run. One of the more likely ones here.
2nd Pick: SUN HOLIDAY (1) Has worked well and can stake claim to having stronger form than most in this.
3rd Pick: SILKARDO (8) Placed two runs back over this trip and can go well.
4th Pick: ORACLE (2) Is better than what he has shown so far but needs to do more now.

RACE 5

1st Pick: MINHAAJ (6) In solid sort of form for a race at this level and should go close.
2nd Pick: PAPERBACK TROOPER (10) At a very attractive mark now and it wouldn't shock to see him go well.
3rd Pick: BRIGHT SUN (3) A good run in November puts her in here with an each-way chance.
4th Pick: BROADWAY SUCCESS (1) Would be better suited over further but has more winning form then most in this.

RACE 6

1st Pick: BIG REGARDS (9) Ran home well after missing the break over the 2000m. Now has 4kgs coming off and can do the same again in the finish.
2nd Pick: JUPITER DRAGON (5) Interesting on the pick of his form and could offer nice value.
3rd Pick: SMILING PROUD (7) Never easy to predict but has the ability to run a cheeky race.
4th Pick: RUNMINDERBINDERRUN (1) Top weight and this race can suit him well. Place chance.

RACE 7

1st Pick: BUSHIDO (3) Raced away to an easy win last time but he had an easy run in transit. Stiffer task from the wide barrier but he can still come through this.
2nd Pick: SUN ACE (8) Plugged away for fourth last time out. Scored only win over course and distance. Don't leave him out of the equation.
3rd Pick: MATSURIBAYASHI (7) Mixes his form. Reverts to Polytrack, a surface he handles well. Would have preferred longer but he can still sneak into the minors.
4th Pick: ASAAD (2) Reverts to Polytrack for first time since debut when he went ordinary. Has matured since and deserves another shot.

RACE 8

1st Pick: GOLDEN THUNDER (1) In decent form at the moment and 3kgs coming off top weight is a big plus. Go close.
2nd Pick: KING ZOUSTAR (2) Was behind the selection last time and should be right there again.
3rd Pick: MIDDLE KINGDOM (8) An interesting runner once again at this distance. Include.
4th Pick: PERFECT (6) Has dropped a further couple of points and the booking of Benny Woodworth catches the eye.

RACE 9

1st Pick: ON LINE (3) First Polytrack outing. If he handles it, he should be a major player in this.
2nd Pick: KARISTO (1) Out of his depth in the Group 3 Colonial Chief Stakes. Blinkers replaced with winkers. Will find this easier even if he lugs a big mass.
3rd Pick: SOLO SUN (4) Won his last race over course and distance. Looks in good order on the training tracks. Go close.
4th Pick: YAYA PAPAYA (7) Ran creditably on the Polytrack mile two starts back but that was back in March. Needed the run first-up. Will be more at home second-up over this trip.

RACE 10

1st Pick: STYLE (4) Fourth on debut. Will strip fitter for this. Improved run expected.
2nd Pick: IN ALL HIS GLORY (5) Progressive sort resuming. Last run was his worst to-date. Tongue-tie on. Has been freshened up and can bounce back to his best first-up.
3rd Pick: GOLDEN FLAME (2) Put in two good runs on Polytrack at his last two starts. Back on turf, goes well on that, too. Should be in the firing line from the handy barrier.
4th Pick: SILENT FORCE (7) Strike a line through last run. Didn't seem to handle the rain-affected track. Better run expected if he can get on top of the ground.
