Singapore racing best bets, race analysis looking at the full Singapore card Saturday, 6th March 2021 with selections & information on all the contenders.

RACE 1

1st Pick: CAVALLA COURT (1) Bounced back to form with a fast-finishing second to Twelfth Night on February 7. Seems to relish the mile. Worth a bet.
2nd Pick: PASIR PINJI (3) Not much of him. Won his Open Maiden by coming from near last at his last start. Has not drawn the best gate but can still sneak into the minors.
3rd Pick: MIGHTY VAIN (2) On his last run when he fought out a blanket finish to run third to Valencia. Can even go forward from low draw. Still a maiden but his winning turn is not far off.
4th Pick: ALMALEK (8) Letdown so far in five runs. Loomed round the home turn but could not quite finish it off. Nice handy barrier. Rough chance.

RACE 2

1st Pick: MARINE VANGUARD (4) Got to the line a fraction too late last start for his best run to-date. Will appreciate extra 400m. Shoulders extra 2.5kgs. Handy barrier. Not thebiggest horse around but can stand up to these.
2nd Pick: REAL EFECTO (1) Has decent gate speed. Just needs to build up on extra stamina towards business end. Distance is a query. Pacifiers on, Vlad Duric on and he has drawn in. Place claims.
3rd Pick: ACE SOVEREIGN (3) Vastly-improved. Should be able to see out the longer trip. Will be hitting the line strongly.
4th Pick: SUPER ATAS (9) Showed significant improvement at second start. Has drawn out. Still ready to best foot forward.

RACE 3

1st Pick: RADIANT SUCCESS (3) Was running home powerfully last time and the stable are in good form. The one to side with in a competitive heat.
2nd Pick: HEAVENLY DANCER (2) Back to race conditions that suit well. Leading chance.
3rd Pick: PROSPEROUS RETURN (11) Comes back in trip here after Restricted Maiden win and must be respected.
4th Pick: CHARGER (8) Now 10 points lower than last win and has plenty of good form under his belt.

RACE 4

1st Pick: WHO LOVES BAE (1) Beaten into second on debut. Did nothing wrong. Should strip fitter for this, but the awkward alley is a dampener. Pacifiers on. If he comes across without being used up, he can go all the way.
2nd Pick: WISHUPONASTAR (7) Loomed momentarily last start but could not quite go on with the job. Drop back to 1100m will suit. Keep safe.
3rd Pick: ROCKET RYANE (2) Making slow headway. Seems to handle Polytrack a touch better. Winkers and tongue- tie off. May have to settle at the back of the field from wide gate. Outside chance.
4th Pick: MORE THAN OIL (9) Has been hitting around the mark of late. Worth a place bet.

RACE 5

1st Pick: PLANTER (3) No spring chicken but ran a cracking race that belied his ageing legs last start. Jumps from a wide alley but he can neutralise that as he comes from the back. If he reproduces his last-start dash, he will be hard to hold out here.
2nd Pick: MIRACLE (2) Tim Fitzsimmons' horses have been finding the way to the winner's circle these days. This one powered home for fourth to Decreto last time out. Can finish over the top of them.
3rd Pick: MY HORSE (10) Ran a surprising third to Winning Legend last Saturday. On the quick back-up. Bears watching even if he has drawn a horror gate.
4th Pick: HERO STAR (5) Scored nice win two runs back. May find 1000m too sharp these days. Can finish in the money with some luck.

RACE 6

1st Pick: SPORTSCASTER (4) Led last start but condition gave out inside last furlong. Trial second on Tuesday. Shadow roll on. Improved outing expected.
2nd Pick: HARVEST TIME (2) Finally showed some ability at last start. Will relish extra 200m. Go close.
3rd Pick: RED RIDING WOOD (3) Form has been hard to work out of late. Blows hot and cold. Winkers and crossover noseband off. Blinker-pacifiers, shadow roll on. Can inject some value to quartets.
4th Pick: ANGEL HALO (6) Recent form not very inspiring, but won his two races over course and distance. But they were back in 2018 and 2019. Not without a say.

RACE 7

1st Pick: LUCK OF MASTER (3) Caught the eye last time when running home well and it might be worth taking a chance with him here.
2nd Pick: AXEL (1) Has performed very well on the surface and looks a good chance for Jerlyn Seow to register a first career success.
3rd Pick: MUSTENGO (6) A good 2000m win on the turf last time out and has plenty of Polytrack form as well. Strong chance.
4th Pick: SHEPHERD'S HYMN (4) Narrowly beaten over the mile last time out. Stays further and should be bang there at the finish.

RACE 8

1st Pick: SATURDAY (3) Caught deep throughout last start, but still let down nicely for fourth to Valencia, less than one length astern. Has drawn an alley. Commands respect.
2nd Pick: STRONG N BEST (4) Was being hailed the winner at his third outing but Pasir Pinji denied him late. Main danger to the top pick.
3rd Pick: BEAR WITNESS (2) In his element in such races. Just lacking that finishing touch. Include in calculations.
4th Pick: MOON CHARM (10) Showed a slight return to form at her last race. Not the worst here though the wide alley is a query. Place chance.

RACE 9

1st Pick: SACRED CROIX (1) Top weight Sacred Croix is on a roll at the moment and that can continue here now back down in grade.
2nd Pick: SUPER DYNASTY (4) First start for Donna Logan here and he is a Group 3 winner over this course and distance. One to watch.
3rd Pick: SILENT PARTNER (10) Has a featherweight here and ran a super race over the same trip and surface last time out. Leading hope.
4th Pick: SENOR DON (9) Conditions suit well in this race and he might well be a decent bit of value.

RACE 10

1st Pick: MR HOOPER (1) Good in defeat last time out behind Federation. He has always gone well for apprentice jockeys and has the assistance of Hakim Kamaruddin here.
2nd Pick: SUN TREK (6) An easy winner of a C/D Maiden last start, this demands more but not impossible to see improvement.
3rd Pick: STUNNING CAT (2) In good form at trials and has finally managed to gain a run and on old form can go well.
4th Pick: RISE OF EMPIRE (4) Polytrack debut and won a recent trial nicely.
