RACE 1

1st Pick: HWASONG (7) Looks a likely type in a race of this nature and comes from a stable who do well with stayers.
2nd Pick: SUPER ATAS (5) An interesting runner now over this trip and is still lightly-raced.
3rd Pick: SPORTSCASTER (8) Up five points for winning last week and now switches to the turf. Place chance.
4th Pick: BILLY BRITAIN (6) A 10-time winner and could go nicely at this level and over this trip.

RACE 2

1st Pick: ELLIOT NESS (4) Only found the smart Lim's Kosciuszko too good last time out. He has since bolted up in a trial and would seem like the horse to beat on form in this. Nice horse going forward.
2nd Pick: GOLDEN WAY (5) Twice raced maiden who was sixth in the Group 3 Singapore Golden Horseshoe at only his second start. A recent trial win was impressive and should be bang in there for a new stable.
3rd Pick: SAHABAT (9) Has shown better form on this surface and won a trial in good time over Lim's Kosciuszko recently to suggest a big show is expected.
4th Pick: SKYLIGHT (12) Disappointing on debut (connections suggesting she would benefit from experience when providing an explanation for performance). Has trialled well since. Interesting.

RACE 3

1st Pick: LIM'S BESTBREAKER (4) Has always run some genuinely nice races in defeat and this trip could suit him well and is worth siding with here.
2nd Pick: SPECIAL OPS (3) Has won a recent trial and has plenty of form to call on. Has had a good break and can go well fresh.
3rd Pick: SPEEDY MISSILE (6) Has some smart form and this trip is a plus. One to include.
4th Pick: THUNDER (5) Course and distance winner and did not have all the luck last time. Interesting runner.

RACE 4

1st Pick: ST ALWYN (10) Still yet to win from 16 career starts but has run second three times over this course and distance and perhaps now is the time he gets the head in front.
2nd Pick: HAPPY FRIDAY (2) The sixth placed-finish behind Optimum Star was much better than it looks on paper and with a clearer run here, he can go awfully close.
3rd Pick: SHOWBOUND (9) Had the misfortune to bump into a well prepped recent trial winner last time out, has a nice weight here and is one for the exotics.
4th Pick: YES ONE BALL (8) Needs to build on maiden win but the form has worked out well since and should have a part to play.

RACE 5

1st Pick: SPIRIT OF BIG BANG (2) Rolled forward and settled wide without cover at last win. Just lasted. Unproven over Polytrack. Still in good nick and is worth following again.
2nd Pick: ON LINE (3) More of a turf horse but is definitely not hopeless on Polytrack. Made ground for second place to stablemate Big Hearted last time out. Can go one better.
3rd Pick: AXEL (8) Saw daylight when race was all over last time. On the quick back-up. Can test the Michael Clements duo above.
4th Pick: LEATHERHEAD (4) Last-start winner tackling stronger opposition. No reason why he can't hold his own here. Can vie for a place.

RACE 6

1st Pick: BIG REGARDS (4) Now 13 points lower than his last win and has plenty of decent staying form at this level. One to be with.
2nd Pick: ACCUMULATION (11) A winner earlier this month off a lowly mark over 1600m. Now up in trip and is in form, so one to include here.
3rd Pick: JUPITER DRAGON (9) Can finish off strongly and is an interesting contender at this distance.
4th Pick: ROMAN CLASSIC (12) Made some late gains last time out and will be doing all his best work late. Place chance.

RACE 7

1st Pick: MR CLINT (1) Flew home for fourth over a distance not made to suit first-up. Can drop his game at next run, but seems to be holding form and cannot be ignored even if trip is still short of his best. Has drawn one, but it's immaterial as he gets back.
2nd Pick: SACRED CROIX (4) Impressive at his last-start win over same course and distance. Picks up six kilos penalty, though. Stiffer task but won't be out of it under champion jockey Vlad Duric.
3rd Pick: MINISTER (3) The mile is more up his alley. No show over 1200m first-up but has taken plenty of improvement from that run. Bolder run expected this time.
4th Pick: PREDITOR (6) Don't write off this old warrior. Has put in two solid runs in a row. Nice low draw puts him in good stead for another placed effort.

RACE 8

1st Pick: KAKADU (5) Has been running respectable races in maiden company and this Class 5 looks very winnable for a stable amongst the winners of late.
2nd Pick: EIGHT BALL (1) Makes his debut at this level and has finished around some useful types. Every chance in a weak race.
3rd Pick: LIFE IS GAMBLE (4) Up five points for an enterprising frontrunning win last time out under Joseph See. This is not a strong Class 5 and he certainly has claims if in some form.
4th Pick: MALIBU BEACH (2) Has been extremely hard to follow for punters in a short career to date. Back in trip now and that might be what is required. Risky but can be factored into the multiples.

RACE 9

1st Pick: BE YOU (2) Fought with great determination to score over the same course and distance at his last outing. Takes on open company but should still come through on current form.
2nd Pick: RELENTLESS (5) Attacked the line too late last time. Will strip fitter for this. Solid claims.
3rd Pick: SAVVY COMMAND (1) From a wide gate, had to do some work to sit outside the leader last time out. Overraced midrace as well. Punctured but still stuck on bravely for fourth. Has drawn an alley this time. Can make amends.
4th Pick: RONALDO'S DREAM (7) Needed the run at his comeback race. Blinkers, tongue-tie on. Fitter and can land a blow here without surprising.

RACE 10

1st Pick: FAME STAR (4) Looked a winner last start but was nabbed at the last stride. Back to his best form and will take some catching from barrier four if he has things his way.
2nd Pick: GRAND KOONTA (1) Not seen since his Kranji Stakes A win in January. Kept fresh, he has been specially prepared for this race. Classy sort who isn't much of a morning glory, but saves his best for the races.
3rd Pick: ROCKET STAR (12) Returning after a bleeding attack at a barrier trial on December 29. Prior form was top-notch. Third to Nepean in the Group 2 EW Barker Trophy (1400m). Goes well fresh. Dark horse of the race.
4th Pick: KHARISMA (8) Has flown through the ranks in no time with a three-in-a-row. Weight-for-age conditions at the highest level is a different kettle of fish, but his potential is still not fully tapped. Genuine sort who can show some cheek here.

RACE 11

1st Pick: HARD TOO THINK (5) Derby prospect who is blooming at the right time. Lost some races through no fault of his a few times. Has drawn awkwardly, but he can still take this if he tucks in somewhere with cover.
2nd Pick: KING'S COMMAND (8) Should have won at last start. Was hampered in home straight and by the time he recovered, it was too late. Blinkers on. Go close.
3rd Pick: IMPLEMENT (2) Ignore last run when he was slow to begin. Won't surprise if he takes a hand in this.
4th Pick: MANDRAKE (4) Last run was encouraging. Backmarker who will make presence felt at business end.
