On Monday, 21 June 2021, Trainer M Walker advised that REIGNITE (V Duric) was not suited by the wide barrier draw, and he will look to place the gelding back on the Polytrack, where it has performed best.

On Monday, 21 June 2021, Mr SH Lee, B Trainer for Trainer D Koh, advised that WAWASAN (O Chavez) had pulled up well after enduring a wide run, and the Stable will continue with its current preparation.

On Monday, 21 June 2021, Trainer M Clements attributed the performance of MELLAD (L Beuzelin) to the fact it had not raced for quite some time, adding that the gelding will take benefit from its first run in Singapore.

A veterinary examination on Sunday, 20 June 2021 revealed that AMAZING MAN (O Chavez) had returned lame near (left) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.
