On Monday, 19 July 2021, Trainer J O'Hara advised that QARAAT (I Saifudin) was not suited by the fast tempo of the event, settling a further back than anticipated. He will continue with the gelding's current preparation.

On Monday, 19 July 2021, Trainer T Fitzsimmons advised that RESURGENCE (App K Hakim) was not suited by the slow tempo, resulting in the gelding overracing. He added that the gelding had pulled up well, and will continue with its current preparation.

A veterinary examination on Monday, 19 July 2021 revealed that BLUE CHIP (I Saifudin) had returned with a swollen off (right) fore with cuts.

A veterinary examination on Monday, 19 July 2021 revealed that BORN TO WIN (App R Iskandar) had returned lame near (left) fore and off (right) hind. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

On Monday, 19 July 2021, Trainer M Walker attributed the performance of STENMARK (V Duric) to being slow to begin after standing in the barriers for some time with two late scratchings. He further advised that the gelding will now be sent for a short spell.

A veterinary examination on Monday, 19 July 2021 revealed that FIDDLESTICK (JP Van Der Merwe) had returned lame off (right) fore and near (left) hind. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

On Monday, 19 July 2021, Trainer J Peters advised that he could not attribute any reasons to the performance of MR HOOPER (O Chavez), other than those which had been provided by the rider to Stewards. He added that the gelding appears to have pulled up well, passing a veterinary examination this morning, and he will continue with its current preparation.
