RACE 2 [TF0616]

On Monday, 23 August 2021, Trainer M Walker advised that he attributed the performance of MARCUS ANTONIUS (App K Hakim) to being too fresh and overracing, after the gelding did not gain a run the previous weekend.

RACE 5 [TF0619]

On Monday, 23 August 2021, Trainer R Le Grange advised that RENZO (App WH Kok) missed the start badly, contributing to the gelding's performance, and may be better suited on the Turf Track surface.

RACE 6 [TF0620]

A veterinary examination on Monday, 23 Aug 2021 revealed that MALIBU BEACH (CC Wong) had returned lame near (left) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

RACE 8 [TF0622]

A veterinary examination on Monday, 23 Aug 2021 revealed that ATLANTEAN (Chavez) had returned with a corneal ulcer to the left eye. It will be required to pass a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

RACE 9 [TF0623]

On Monday, 23 August 2021, Trainer M Clements advised that STARLIGHT (S Shafrizal) raced too keenly with the Blinkers on at its first start over the 1600m, adding that the gelding also did not seem to appreciate the rain affected track. He will consider dropping the gelding back in distance and making some adjustments to its gear.

RACE 10 [TF0624]

On Monday, 23 August 2021, Trainer S Baertschiger advised that ATLAS (M Zaki) did not appear to handle the prevailing track conditions, adding the gelding will now be sent for a spell. The gelding is required to pass a 1000m gallop trial from the barrier and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again due to its poor performance.
