RACE 1

1st Pick: CAPTAIN SINGAPORE (1) Ran extremely well after dropping to this grade last start and this looks to be right up his alley. Wide draw makes it a challenge.
2nd Pick: LIM'S WISH (9) Only lightly-raced and the stable places their runners well. All of his best runs have come at this trip.
3rd Pick: PER INCROWN (5) Meets a pretty weak division this week. His lone win came over 1600m but he has run some nice races at these conditions. Drawn well here.
4th Pick: WIND OF DUBAI (6) Ran a solid placing last start and has performed well at this distance. Still young and lightly-raced. Gets a chance here.

RACE 2

1st Pick: PINDUS (5) Loves racing at this distance and although it's been a while since he won, his last few starts have shown that the next win is not far away. His good draw helps a lot.
2nd Pick: QAIDOOM (1) Was very impressive winning her maiden on debut. From a leading stable and can go back-to-back in this race. Needs to jump well from out wide.
3rd Pick: MISTER DYNAMO (3) Solid Class 5 performer. Stable going very well this season and must be respected in this grade.
4th Pick: LOVING BABE (2) Best form reads over 1200m but could be a run-on horse if the leading pack tire towards the end.

RACE 3

1st Pick: HAMAMA (2) Impressive debut winner when she came from a wide barrier to find the lead, and she also ran time. Will strip even fitter for this and has drawn better in barrier four. Top chance.
2nd Pick: HAPPY MOMENT (5) Sprang a surprise at his racing comeback last Sunday. On the quick back-up. Second run syndrome is a query but on current form, he can still have a say in this. Low draw is also a bonus.
3rd Pick: SNIP (4) Old warrior who still has some juice left. Working well and won't surprise if he finishes in the money.
4th Pick: ZYGARDE (11) Two seconds at last two starts on Polytrack. Reverts to turf and can still make presence felt. No weight on his back. Should be thereabouts at the business end.

RACE 4

1st Pick: REIGNITE (1) Trialled well last week in preparation for this event. Has some nice form in maiden races to kick off his winning strike rate.
2nd Pick: LIM'S DENALI (9) Speedy mare who hasn't had a lot of luck in her career. Willing to give her a good chance here. Watch for betting support.
3rd Pick: BIG TIGER (2) Only placed on one occasion and his run last start behind the impressive Illustrious was enough to make him a player in this.
4th Pick: CANDY RAIN (11) Won a trial in nice style last week. If she runs up to that she can show much improvement off her first start.

RACE 5

1st Pick: LEATHERHEAD (2) The course record holder for 1600m on the surface and conditions suit him very well here. Big run expected.
2nd Pick: CARIBBEAN LADY (4) A mare in a rich vein of form at present and is now up five points for her victory last time. Her course and distance form is good and she can run well again.
3rd Pick: AXEL (1) Last win was over this track and distance back in April and is now back on that last winning handicap mark as well. Will go close.
4th Pick: MEGA GOLD (8) Ran on well when last seen only last Sunday and the step-up in trip is very interesting.

RACE 6

1st Pick: NEW GARDEN (6) Only a one-time winner here in Singapore but lately his form has been okay for a contest like this. Could be the surprise runner.
2nd Pick: LEGGENDA (2) Broke his maiden recently and has a rating to keep him in this grade. Stable going well and could be met with betting support.
3rd Pick: COMING FAST (4) His form doesn't read great on first glance but he hasn't been too far away from the action in his last few starts.
4th Pick: SUMMER GLITTER (11) Two starts ago ran an okay third and this isn't a strong race so could be a surprise at the end of this event.

RACE 7

1st Pick: CHARGER (5) Continues to run good races in defeat and is only three points higher than his last win over this course and distance. The return to Polytrack can be what's required and he can go very close here.
2nd Pick: ROCKETSHIP (7) Didn't beat a great deal when winning last time, but could only win. She is progressive and an opening mark of 54 looks fair. Player.
3rd Pick: MR HOOPER (4) Oscar Chavez is back on board here and he has gone well for the Panamanian jockey. Three points lower now since a good run behind Longhu in June.
4th Pick: WHAT YOU LIKE (8) Running here off a mark of 53 makes some appeal in a tricky little race. One to include.

RACE 8

1st Pick: STRONG N BEST (6) Solid in defeat two weeks ago and is now up a couple of points for that good run. Like the booking of Simon Kok Wei Hoong and should go very close here.
2nd Pick: YAYA PAPAYA (7) Has plenty of form in the book and is racing well at the moment.
3rd Pick: KING LOUIS (1) Very disappointing last time out when running second last behind Real Efecto. He trialled nicely this Tuesday and hopefully he can put that poor run behind him now.
4th Pick: SOUND THE SIREN (4) Recent track work was pleasing and is an each-way chance.

RACE 9

1st Pick: LAKSANA (8) Improving sort who is knocking on the door. Seems to handle Polytrack better. Blinker-pacifiers on. Ready to open account.
2nd Pick: QIJI AUSTON (2) Ridden more positive with visors on last start. Major threat if he can have his way upfront again. Include in calculations.
3rd Pick: ZOFFSPEED (3) In-and-out performer. Never scored beyond 1600m but he can definitely run out a strong 1700m. Looks well on the training tracks. Outside chance.
4th Pick: FORT MUSTANG (5) Rider queried last start. Could have done better. Handier draw this time. Place hope.

RACE 10

1st Pick: PENNYWISE (4) With the stablemate Katak surely going to be all the rage on his local debut, a chance is taken with Pennywise from the same stable. A Group 3 winner at his peak, he ran a super race to only just be touched off last time out over the mile. The drop back in trip is no issue and the lightweight will help too.
2nd Pick: AUGUSTANO (7) A super run in defeat last time out. He has a lot of good form in the book and if in the same form here, he can go very close once again with Jerlyn Seow Poh Hui staying on board.
3rd Pick: KATAK (2) One of the most exciting horses to come to Singapore in many years. Unbeaten in five in his native South Africa, he is the winner of the 'Winter Series' last year when landing a trio of Grade 3 races (1600-2400m). He has impressed in his only trial so far and although this trip would look sharp enough on paper, a good pace will help and he is of massive interest on Kranji debut. One to look forward to.
4th Pick: NOWYOUSEE (1) A nice type who always turns up and runs his race. He is a Group 3 winner over the course and distance and should go well here at decent odds

RACE 11

1st Pick: ELLIOT NESS (5) Freshened up after last start in June. Disappointed after breaking 1100m record three runs back. Tongue-tie on. Won't shock if he bounces back.
2nd Pick: TEARDROPS (2) Rider queried last start when second. Won't be long before he opens his Kranji account.
3rd Pick: COUSTEAU (1) Quickened up for a nice win last time out. Loves the all-weather. Extra 100m should not pose any problem. Picks up extra 5kgs, though.
4th Pick: SUN TREK (4) Went okay when held up last start. Can switch back to on-pace pattern. Warrants consideration.

RACE 12

1st Pick: FIRST BOWL (4) Currently on a good run. Scored after settling more forward last start. Well in on weights. Big say if he reproduces last-start winning form.
2nd Pick: WILD BEE (9) Will run a good honest race if last couple of starts are anything to go by. Each-way claims.
3rd Pick: INHERIT (6) Didn't quite act in the wet track last start. Will get back from awkward alley and rely on his turn of foot to stake a claim in this.
4th Pick: MACEO (7) Not without ability but tardy getaways have proved costly. Consider if he jumps on terms. Pacifiers off.
