RACE 1

1st Pick: STREET PARTY (1) Only a one-time winner here but has been knocking on the door. He will get that much-awaited win if not Saturday, very soon.
2nd Pick: HIDDEN PROMISE (6) Was a winner three runs back in this grade and last start nearly got there with a strong placing. Must be respected.
3rd Pick: LEMON SQUASH (3) One from a stable that must be respected in these events. Last few runs have been good enough to figure here and has good form over the distance.
4th Pick: ACCUMULATION (11) Form figures read well for a race like this. His single career victory came over this distance. Watch the betting for support.

RACE 2

1st Pick: TURF BEAUTY (9) Racing well at the moment and looks a leading chance in a weak race from a good barrier.
2nd Pick: LIM'S SHOT (5) Stablemate of Turf Beauty and has trialled well prior to this start. Needs to overcome a wide gate though.
3rd Pick: BROADWAY SUCCESS (1) All wins have been on turf but is in good order and can make the frame.
4th Pick: RICH FORTUNE (12) This old boy ran on well last time over the course and distance. Can do the same here.

RACE 3

1st Pick: DOC HUDSON (2) Let down strongly for a close-up third last time out. Raced against the likes of Kharisma and Ararat Lady not too long ago. Has dropped a rating where he can be competitive again.
2nd Pick: KING ZOUSTAR (6) Failed in his three-in-a-row bid but was far from disgraced. Drawn wide again. On best form he will give this a shake even if he has drawn off the track.
3rd Pick: OUR PINNACLE (4) Needs more ground, but if the speed is one, he can still make presence felt at business end. Pacifiers on. Sticky draw, but can inject some value to exotic bets.
4th Pick: VALOROUS (1) Lightly-raced eight-year-old who is still a maiden. Gave a better account of himself at last start. Marble one. Include in calculations.

RACE 4

1st Pick: KING ARTHUR (1) Still lightly-raced and has now found a weak race to break the maiden tag.
2nd Pick: TESORO PIRATA (3) Racing well and has won a recent trial prior to this race. High on the list.
3rd Pick: LIM'S DENALI (11) Placed in four of her six career starts and backs up quickly after last week.
4th Pick: BEYOND COMPARED (2) Best of the race in a weak race outside of the top trio.

RACE 5

1st Pick: LUCKY JINSHA (7) Hard to ignore after he made mincemeat of his rivals at his last start. Wide barrier does not bother him as he won from an awkward alley last time. Vastly-improved and will be the horse to beat.
2nd Pick: SPECIAL OPS (2) Bounced back to his best at his last outing. Has trained on and will be thereabouts again.
3rd Pick: HEADHUNTER (4) Boxed on well to run third to Water Rocket last time. Blinkers seem to have switched him on. Handy barrier. Can finish in the money.
4th Pick: NO FUN NO GAIN (3) Ran fairly first-up from a long break. Will strip fitter for this. Can pinch a place without shocking.

RACE 6

1st Pick: MAXIMILIAN (3) Won well last start off a low rating. His best results came over this course and distance and meets a weaker division of this race.
2nd Pick: INTREPID (2) Ran well last start only be beaten by a better one on the day. Was caught wide and had excuses, so with more luck, can go one better.
3rd Pick: MARCUS ANTONIUS (7) Has been racing over slightly further and drops back in distance. From a leading stable who must be respected.
4th Pick: OUD WOOD (4) His record doesn't read great but there is a bit to like about his recent runs. A nice fourth last start in these conditions is enough to figure here.

RACE 7

1st Pick: LUCK OF MASTER (2) Knocking on the door. Hasn't won for nearly one year but can return to winning ways here.
2nd Pick: AXEL (1) Seems to go better when allowed to stride along to the front. Big threat if left alone upfront.
3rd Pick: REAL EFECTO (3) Last-start winner who will relish extra 200m to 1800m even if he is venturing over such a trip for the first time. Nice low draw. Won't surprise if he doubles the dose.
4th Pick: MATSURIBAYASHI (5) Won two 1700m races in a row recently. Faces stiffer test, but is not without place claims with a bit of luck.

RACE 8

1st Pick: MARINE VANGUARD (5) Worth taking a chance with this Shane Baertschiger-trained runner fresh in this affair. He has won a trial well and could be the way to go.
2nd Pick: WAWASAN (2) Good in defeat last time behind The Brotherhood and ranks as another good chance here.
3rd Pick: RED ROAR (6) Up six for winning last time out in a slightly lesser race. The wide barrier makes it hard to go back-to-back.
4th Pick: GOOD CATCH (1) Down in grade here and is interesting on best form.

RACE 9

1st Pick: GOLDEN DASH (1) Has hovered around this rating for some time now and has been threatening to win again. Was caught wide last start and boxed on bravely.
2nd Pick: AMORE AMORE (6) Only a one-time winner here but meets a winnable division here today. Bumped heavily after jumping last start and had excuses.
3rd Pick: THE WILD PRINCE (9) Was a big surprise winning last start after having horrid form before that. Could the trainer have found the key to him now?
4th Pick: ST ALWYN (2) Meets a small field here today and his lone victory came over this course and distance. Danny Beasley on and he could surprise here.

RACE 10

1st Pick: SURE WILL DO (7) Super run first-up from a break. Felt the pinch late. Tongue-tie off. Took great benefit from the run and should be harder to beat this time.
2nd Pick: SONGGONG HERA (2) Had a scare a fortnight ago when he showed early signs of colic and was scratched from a 1000m race, but has fortunately recovered. Has drawn an alley and commands respect.
3rd Pick: HUGO (9) Form had tapered off but gave a glimpse of his old self with a flying finish to run second to Watch Out Boss over 1000m at his last start. Blinker-pacifiers on. Big runner.
4th Pick: QUARTER BACK (1) Outpaced early last start but flew home for fourth. Goes over same distance. Watch out.

RACE 11

1st Pick: AFTERMATH (3) Ran a slashing race over this course and distance last start. From a leading stable who is in great form recently.
2nd Pick: KISS YOUR SONG (4) His record is superb over this distance. Does need things to go his way tempo-wise but is aided by the claim this time.
3rd Pick: MOONGATE STAR (1) Nice placing last start and all three of his career victories have come on the Polytrack. Well suited here.
4th Pick: AL GREEN (6) Hard to fault his form recently. Has been ultra-consistent and is never too far away from the action in the finish.
