RACE 1

1st Pick: THE SHADOW (2) Very open affair this race. He finished second to Brutus last start and that form looks solid. With the 3kg claim of Jerlyn Seow Poh Hui, he is drawn to get a nice run and be strong at the end.
2nd Pick: FIREWORKS (13) Solid at his last two starts. Two starts back only beaten three lengths to Tiger Leap and found the 1000m too sharp last week. Danny Beasley on and stable is flying.
3rd Pick: TAKHI (4) Ultra-consistent galloper who finds it difficult to win. Caught the eye again last start and is knocking on the door to get a victory very soon.
4th Pick: BROADWAY SUCCESS (12) Won in nice fashion last start on the quick back-up. Will carry six kilos more without a claiming rider but will look dangerous at some point in the straight.

RACE 2

1st Pick: RED DRAGON (3) Ran on well last week in Novice company over this course and distance, and a repeat of that run will see him go very close to winning this.
2nd Pick: DRAGON TYCOON (4) Has run a string of good races over slightly shorter trips and should be bang in there at the finish.
3rd Pick: DABBLE (7) Won a trial with blinkers on recently in very good style and respectable time. Looks the type to improve now for the addition of the headgear.
4th Pick: NORTHERN STAR (10) The step-up in trip can suit well here and he has won a recent trial. In form and a must for the multiples.

RACE 3

1st Pick: ROMANTIC (5) Almost scored first-up from a long break. Will relish extra 200m. Special bit on. Can be hit-and-miss but if on song, he will be among the swampers late.
2nd Pick: REIGNITE (3) The penny seems to have dropped for this galloper. Carried out wide last start or he could have won when second to Wild Bee. Can bounce back.
3rd Pick: WILD BEE (4) Hard to hold off when on song, like at his last start. If he reproduces that form, not many here can outsprint him. Go close.
4th Pick: BASILISK (6) Senior jockey gets on board this time. Stronger handling could help him finish off better. Shadow roll on. Top-three finish on the cards.

RACE 4

1st Pick: CIZEN LUCKY (3) Meets an open Class 5 field where he can bring his best form and be a leading player. Trialled nicely leading into this and from a stable that gets good market support.
2nd Pick: MINGS MAN (6) This old boy doesn't know his age. He is racing like a rock-hard fit four-year-old and he only has to run like his last couple of starts to feature again.
3rd Pick: PISCA PISCA (1) She drops back in distance where she has been placed in the past. The rider and trainer combination have a great strike rate this year and could be an each-way hope.
4th Pick: BLACK TAIPAN (4) Last start was one of his better runs to-date. Ideally he is probably looking for a lot further in distance but he could sneak into the minor placings.

RACE 5

1st Pick: HUNTSMAN (1) The return to Polytrack is a plus and has won over the course and distance when breaking the maiden a couple back. Conditions suit and has every chance here with Marc Lerner booked.
2nd Pick: LIM'S UNIQUE (3) Down in grade here and is racing off a handy mark now. The blinkers are added and he looks a leading chance on paper.
3rd Pick: PERFECT MISSION (5) The booking of Oscar Chavez catches the eye. Was racing well when last seen in August. Each-way contender.
4th Pick: LOVING BABE (4) Another grade dropper and he looks well treated here.

RACE 6

1st Pick: BIG TIGER (2) Has gone close over the course and distance, and was good behind the useful Everest last time out. One to beat here.
2nd Pick: SUPERIOR COAT (4) Racing well currently and should be involved at the finish.
3rd Pick: CITY HALL (5) Better last time out in a Class 5 and represents an each-way chance.
4th Pick: KONAN (7) Disappointing last time out on debut and now gets a tongue tie on, and hopefully, he can improve.

RACE 7

1st Pick: ALLEGRO (11) His last win came off a rating of 37 and he has solid stats over this course and distance. Should be supported in the market for the trainer and jockey combination.
2nd Pick: KSATRIA (7) Ran a solid second behind Sun Ace last start and can go on with it from here. Although still a maiden gets his chance in this field.
3rd Pick: TONY'S LOVE (9) Drawn to get a lovely run on the rail. Last start settled midfield and was very strong in the straight, and conditions suit to win again here.
4th Pick: KING'S SPEECH (1) Makes his Class 5 debut after 30 starts in Singapore. Always respect these class droppers especially this one who has won at Class 3 in the past.

RACE 8

1st Pick: FIRST BOWL (5) Keeping up good form by finishing on board since win four starts back. Working well on training tracks. Among the leading hopes.
2nd Pick: CLARTON TREASURE (4) Put a line through last run when he was trapped deep and raced without cover. Spent force in straight. Worth better and handier draw can help him make amends.
3rd Pick: SIAM ROYAL ORCHID (1) Polytrack performer who raced against much better opponents not too long ago. Recent form has been solid without winning. Bears watching.
4th Pick: LONGHU (2) Best form has been when leading. Has to beat sticky draw to elect for those tactics here. Faces stiff task but if he can get there without being used up too much, he is not without a place chance.

RACE 9

1st Pick: NATE'S HONOUR (5) Looking for three in a row. Something we wouldn't have said a few months ago but they seem to have figured him out and he looks primed to do it.
2nd Pick: TURF BEAUTY (9) Her best form comes on the turf and she hasn't been too far from the winners at previous runs. Look for market support.
3rd Pick: SILENT FORCE (3) Last start was a sharp improvement running fourth. With the claim and good draw of barrier two can be positive in the run for Jerlyn Seow Poh Hui, and hails from our leading stable.
4th Pick: SEE YAH (8) Although drawn in the carpark should settle back like last start and come wide with a sharp run. Suited to the Long Course and can figure in the multiples with luck.

RACE 10

1st Pick: KING'S COMMAND (1) Rising to 1800m for the first time. Gives every indication the trip will be up his alley. In brilliant form and can certainly double up.
2nd Pick: MESMERIZING (10) Bolted up on debut but didn't beat much. Faces stiffer task but seems to have made further headway. Nice barrier. This run will be the real guide where he stands.
3rd Pick: RAMBO (3) Still chasing first local win but has been knocking on the door lately. Blinkers on. Include in calculations.
4th Pick: TIGER LEAP (7) Progressive sort who will find this more challenging but has the qualities to put up a creditable show, nonetheless. Won't surprise if he finishes in the money.

RACE 11

1st Pick: ALL WE KNOW (5) Has exceeded expectations this year. Beat a smart Class 4 field at his last outing. Handy gate. Will give some sight in the home straight.
2nd Pick: SATURNO SPRING (1) Resuming from a three-month layoff. The 1400m is a nice distance to kick off over. Ran against better horses than this. Can go well fresh.
3rd Pick: KING ZOUSTAR (10) Has been around the mark without winning of late. Yet to score or place over 1400m. Outside chance.
4th Pick: FORTUNE CHANGER (3) Every chance when well backed last start but stayed one-paced when it mattered. Went for a change of name. Will get the run of the race from barrier No 2. Fair chance.
