RACE 1

1st Pick: WIND OF LIBERTY (3) Narrowly denied last time out. If he has come through that run well and improves second-up, clearly looks the one to beat here.
2nd Pick: AMORE AMORE (1) Carries less weight than last start where he won due to apprentice claim. Extra 200m should be a plus but back to turf is a slight question mark.
3rd Pick: PERFECT (2) Copped a bit of a whack on the scales for last-start victory and now carries the same as Wind Of Liberty. Expecting him to still be in the finish if he can replicate last-start performance. Connections are flying.
4th Pick: CONFLAGRANCE (4) Trial to the eye suggests this gelding is in good order. Looking forward to seeing him return to the mile but on previous runs, he could definitely figure here.

RACE 2

1st Pick: KWAZII (1) Two barrier trials under his belt where he was more forward at his second trial, scoring from Big Tiger. Won't surprise if he makes the board.
2nd Pick: LIM'S DREAMWALKER (3) Quirky horse who is not without qualities. Second two starts back and then ran ordinary again. One for exotics if he is in the mood.
3rd Pick: LIM'S HOPEFULLY (8) Another Lim's horse who has not quite delivered but did show some glimpses of ability. May elect to lead and if things pan out his way, he can surprise.
4th Pick: SILKARDO (9) Has not shown much in 14 starts, but did grind his way into fifth place not too far off the winner Blitz Power last start.

RACE 3

1st Pick: BRUTUS (3) The form continues and holding strong with three wins from his last four starts. Doesn't have to lead but should be up there and fend them off in the finish.
2nd Pick: LIM'S PASSION (2) Gets back and runs home strongly. There should be good speed in the race and with that looks a definite place chance in this field. Switch back to the turf suits.
3rd Pick: HARRY DREAM (8) She has a serious motor when she gets running. This is a race that if she brings her best and things go her way, she could surprise.
4th Pick: DR KARDO (10) Last three starts have been respectable after failing to do much since his maiden win. Should press forward with a lightweight and give some sight.

RACE 4

1st Pick: ROCKET RYANE (6) Flew home when it was all over last start. Hard to hold out if he gets an uninterrupted run in the closing stages.
2nd Pick: TAKHI (5) High time he wins again since his debut win almost two years ago, which was incidentally over the same course and distance. Seems to go well for apprentice jockey Jerlyn Seow Poh Hui. Go close.
3rd Pick: NATE'S CHAMPION (1) Didn't run too badly last time out when caught out in the cheap seats. Handier barrier this time. Class dropper who will get the run of the race. In the mix.
4th Pick: RED ROAR (11) Already in full work when transferred to Jason Lim. Faces stiffer task but can make still presence felt at the business end.

RACE 5

1st Pick: MINGS MAN (12) At 12 years of age, the old boy is still showing that he is racing well. Was running home incredibly well last time and off the minimum mark with Zyrul Nor Azman back on board, I have no doubt in my mind that another win isn't far away.
2nd Pick: HENG XING (2) Got flattened early in the race last start and didn't get a chance to work into it. Expect a bold showing.
3rd Pick: BLITZ POWER (5) Gained a couple of kilos for last-start win but is racing well and deserves respect again, look for her late to be flashing again.
4th Pick: ATLANTEAN (7) Looked a great hope last start but found himself in a spot of bother at the top corner. Off his trial before the previous start it seemed like the horse was in good order, happy to forgive last start and keep safe here.

RACE 6

1st Pick: PROOF PERFECT (3) Back to winning mark of 60 once again. Could surprise much like last season where off the same mark, broke through first start for 2021 over 1100m on the Polytrack. Coming off a long break is the only query.
2nd Pick: ELLIOT NESS (11) Put in a super run last time to the races with a low weight beaten 1.9L by Al Green. Consistently not far off the winner and looks to be a threat here once again. One-from-one track and distance.
3rd Pick: RESOLUTION (1) Slick trial on January 20 ahead of first start in 2022. Form behind King Arthur last start looked strong, looks a major player.
4th Pick: MIRACLE (8) Rating is probably still a little high but trials have been good, therefore he shouldn't be left out of exotic bets.

RACE 7

1st Pick: GOLDEN DASH (3) Won twice over course and distance. Working well on training tracks. Put in a super effort first-up when caught wide and still boxed on for third. Bears watching here.
2nd Pick: WEDNESDAY (9) Still yet to break maiden status in 15 starts but has been showing significant signs of improvement. Pacifiers and shadow roll off. Drawn awkwardly. Will be in the hunt.
3rd Pick: SUPER TALENT (7) The sort who pops up once in a while without warning. Has drawn a better barrier this time. Not without claims.
4th Pick: ANPANMAN (8) In-and-out performer. Unreliable but if on song, he does have the wherewithal in this grade to upstage this field.

RACE 8

1st Pick: RED OCEAN (1) Toyed with his rivals in easy style last start. Drops back to 1400m which shouldn't be a concern. Won't get it easy from the wide barrier but he has class on his side.
2nd Pick: REAL SUCCESS (2) Was motoring home last start behind Lim's Kosciuszko and ran the fastest final section of that field. Danny Beasley on and can be a danger.
3rd Pick: MINI FORCE X (3) Much improved run last start when beaten just under a length to unbeaten Lim's Kosciuszko and ran the second fastest last 400m In the race.
4th Pick: CIRCUIT MISSION (6) Brings good form over slightly further ground in the middle stage of last season. Has since trialled nicely and look for a bold showing.

RACE 9

1st Pick: PISCA PISCA (8) First start for the year. Wasn't far off Laksana and Super Atas last start. From the right yard, stable would have had her ticking over nicely ahead of this weekend.
2nd Pick: LAKSANA (5) Getting back out to a suitable distance. First up run for 2022 over 1400m was a little too sharp for him. Expecting to see this son of Wandjina improve lengths this start, look for him late in the race to be flying home.
3rd Pick: SUPER ATAS (2) Tough win last start but loses the services of Manoel Nunes due to suspension. Extra ground should be a plus coming off a last-start victory. Expecting some nice improvement. 4th Pick: JUPITER DRAGON (10) Three starts track and distance for two top four placings. Flew home last run of 2021 in behind Intrepid over 1400m. Back up to 1800m, this one-time winner could figure in the money here.

RACE 10

1st Pick: CELAVI (2) She returns to the Polytrack after a disappointing run on turf last start. She is drawn perfectly in two and should be leading and giving them all something to chase.
2nd Pick: MAKKEM LAD (1) Has a great record on this surface and does most of his racing on the turf. The three-kilogram claim for Yusoff Fadzli brings him right into contention. Speed runner.
3rd Pick: ENTERTAINER (6) This is a tough test for him compared to his best wins. With good speed in the race, he should be behind the leaders and have one crack at the finish.
4th Pick: ARARAT LADY (8) Trialled in sensational style stopping the clock at 58.8 in preparation for this run. Great stats over this distance and should run well fresh.

RACE 11

1st Pick: LIM'S BESTBREAKER (5) Didn't have much luck last start when bouncing between runners in the early stage. Flew home for an eye-catching third and the extra long track will suit.
2nd Pick: PRODIGAL (10) Makes the shift back to turf and has a great record over the distance. Has been working well and look for any market support.
3rd Pick: SPEEDY MISSILE (7) Although his finishing placings look bad, he hasn't been too far from the winners at his last three starts. Has been a victim of circumstances on more than one occasion. Just needs luck to bring his best form.
4th Pick: THE SHADOW (11) Nice win in a lesser grade last start. All best runs have been over the shorter distances, so giving a chance with a lightweight and should go forward.
