Despite having a wide draw, the 15-8 market leader was quickly moved across several of her rivals by Martin Harley to be slotted in behind early leader Wee Jean.

The four-year-old led just outside the furlong marker and though Victoria Regina momentarily looked to pose a serious threat, the Dutch Art filly was not for catching and was pushed out score by a length and a quarter from Solar Magic.

Botti said: "She did that well. Although she had an outside draw, she had plenty of daylight and when Martin asked her to go she responded straight away.

"I think she will get a little bit further as I think she could get a mile and a quarter. She was a good filly in Italy last year, but this year I think she is a better filly as she looked stronger. This was a great effort as when I looked through the form, for a Listed race early on it was quite competitive.

"She is entered in the Middleton at York, but we are not saying she is definitely going to go there. We will just see how she comes out of this and then make a plan."

Rosealee made her racecourse debut a winning one when coming with a late dash to land the Betfred TV/British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes.

Although green early on, the 16-1 shot warmed to the task in the hands of Freddie Tylicki to get up and deny Anwar in the five-furlong event by half a length, to provide trainer Jeremy Gask with a rare two-year-old winner.

Gask said: "She has just been so honest since we bought her. She has just wanted to please us right from the moment we started doing work with her. We don't make it a priority to get the two-year-olds going early, but if they are willing to go we won't stop them."

Speculative Bid followed up a recent course and distance victory with a narrow success in the Betfred Home Of The Goals Handicap.

Outback Traveller looked to have the seven-furlong race in the bag when quickening from the front off a stop-start pace, but having seen off the majority of his rivals, the 7-2 favourite was joined deep inside the final furlong by the 4-1 winner.

Responding to a full-on drive from Jamie Spencer ,the David Elsworth-trained runner got the better of a thrilling finish to win by a head.

Spencer said: "They went a steady pace and Ryan Moore was in the best position to quicken from the front. My lad has done well to lay it down to him and get there on the line."

The Kevin Ryan-trained Realize made it three wins from his last four starts when getting up close home to land the Betfred Racing's Biggest Supporter Handicap.

Racing close to the back of the field, the five-year-old was presented with open daylight up the inside on the turn for home in the mile event and m aking the most of the clear passage, the 14-1 chance knuckled down for jockey Shane Gray to get the better of George Cinq by a neck.

Gray said: "When he wins his races he doesn't win them by far, but he is a tough horse who always tries his heart out. I knew he would battle for me when he got his head down. They didn't go quick, but he settled well and he got the split up the inside, which fell into his hands."
