Kadrizzi and Field Of Vision reoppose in the Download The New Unibet Racing App Conditions Stakes at Wolverhampton this Friday.
The five-furlong contest on Tapeta is the final Fast-Track Qualifier for the £150,000 Unibet Three-Year-Old Sprint Championships over the same distance at Lingfield Park on All-Weather Championships Finals Day, Good Friday, March 25.
Kadrizzi (Dean Ivory/Robert Winston) and Field Of Vision (Joe Tuite/John Egan) clashed in a five-furlong Fast-Track Qualifier on Polytrack at Chelmsford City on February 7, with Kadrizzi coming out on top by half a length.
Field Of Vision has finished runner-up on his last four starts, including in the Group Three Cornwallis Stakes at Newmarket in October, and will wear cheekpieces for the first time on Friday evening.
Lambourn-based Tuite said today: "Field Of Vision is in great form. I have stuck cheekpieces on him because I feel he has been second too many times and I want to try and squeeze a bit more out of him.
"I don't have to squeeze much and I just want to get it right. I was disappointed last time when he was beaten but the winner is probably a good horse.
"On the book, we have got a bit to find with Dean Ivory's and David Barron's (Wolowitz) is improving. I feel ours has improved a bit and he has a good draw (5), so we are looking forward to it.
"The only day I'm worried about is Lingfield at the end of the month. I want to try the cheekpieces now rather than leave it until then because that is the day I want to be spot on."
The nine-strong field also includes Shadow Hunter (Paul D'Arcy/Shane Kelly), a Listed winner at York's Ebor Festival in August, and Wolowitz (David Barron/Graham Gibbon) who is unbeaten in two starts on the All-Weather, including an impressive course and distance victory last time out on February 23.
