Exciting Siyarafina in line for French Guineas chance

3 minute read

Unbeaten filly looks Classic material

Siyarafina could be supplemented for the French 1000 Guineas following her impressive victory in the Prix du Louvres at ParisLongchamp on Monday.

The Pivotal filly, trained by Alain de Royer Dupre, showed a superb turn of foot as she came from last to first to take the conditions event over a mile, following up an equally taking debut success from earlier in the month.

Royer Dupre is keen on having a shot at the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches back at the Paris course on May 12.

“She’s come back very well. She did it very easily,” said the trainer.

“It is is possible. We have to decide with the Aga Khan (owner), but it could be a good solution.

“Three weeks is perfect between the two races.

“I think we have to supplement three days before the race, but it depends. She will have a gallop on Sunday or Monday. After that we can decide to go.”
