Looked like there were plenty of celebrations at the party that followed the G-P meeting.
Among the celebrants were the connections of Way To Paris, Andrea Marciales and Cristian Demuro trainer and jockey of the 6/1 winner who just got there ahead of Marmelo in the Maurice de Nieuil G2. Both horses easily undertook the trip on going that was good-soft.
The Grand Prix de Paris went to the odds-on favourite Japan with Slalom enjoying a much better race than he'd had in the Jockey Club and running second by ½ a length, with Jalmoud finishing third by a whisker from Roman Candle.
