Arrowfield Stud's senior stallion Not A Single Doubt sired his 66th stakes winner and 15th for the current season on Saturday when the Tony McEvoy-trained juvenile filly Westport landed the Listed Oaklands Plate at Morphettville.
Westport (Not A Single Doubt x Sister Bruce by Shamardal) put the seal on her sire's most successful season that has seen his progeny earn more than $11.7 million prizemoney.
The two-year-old filly was purchased by McEvoy for $220,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling from the Torryburn Stud draft and according to her trainer has a big future with his eyes on the $1 million Golden Rose in Sydney in September.
"She's a star of the future. I just wanted to see her today at the 1400m,"McEvoy said.
Westport is the second foal and first winner for the Shamardal mare Sister Bruce and comes from the family of champion 2YO Dance Hero.
Sister Bruce was purchased by Westport's breeder Torryburn Stud for $20,000 at the 2014 Magic Millions Patinack Farm Complete Dispersal. She is a half-sister to the G3-placed Un De Sceaux (Hinchinbrook).
Not A Single Doubt's 15 stakeswinners this season (14 in Australia plus Kranji Mile winner Southern Legend) come from six crops and have won 23 stakes races this term over distances from 1000m to 2500m and include the G1 winners Kenedna and Qafila.
He is also the sire of the exciting Classique Legend, the rising 4YO who will take on the best sprinters in the $14 million Everest at Randwick in October for owner Boniface Ho and Carmel Size.
Westport and this season 's Group-winning 2YO colts Dubious and Stronger (now in Hong Kong) are from Not A Single Doubt's largest crop since his 2012 season that produced G1 winners Secret Agenda, Single Gaze and Scales Of Justice and nine other stakeswinners.
The Oaklands Plate gave Westport her third consecutive win and made her the 23rd 2YO by Not A Single Doubt to become a black type winner.
The son of the late Redoute's Choice, who is fully booked at Arrowfield Stud this spring on a fee of $110,000, has finished among the top 10 sires in Australia every year since 2011 and has been top five in three of the last four seasons.
In the sale this year Not A Single Doubt had 60 lots sold at major auctions for an aggregate of $18.3 million at an average of just over $305,000. They included his $1.1 million colt from Miss Sharapova and the 1.05 million Zillow colt.
His 15 stakes winners have been prepared by a dozen stables with four of them claiming two stakeswinners each - Ciaron Maher & David Eustace (Kenedna/Dubious), Bjorn Baker (Champagne Cuddles/Samadoubt), Toby Edmonds (Winter Bride/From Within) and Tony McEvoy (Cool Passion/Westport).
While Not A Single Doubt stands at Arrowfield Stud the nursery appears as the breeder of only two of this season's stakeswinners (Kenedna and Stronger).
Woodpark Stud, based in the NSW southern highlands, bred Qafila while Champagne Cuddles was passed in and is raced by her breeder Stuart Ramsey of Turangga Farm.
Michael and Jill McDermott bred and sold Cool Passion privately and Winter Bride is a home-bred for Segenhoe Thoroughbreds.
Not A Single Doubt's other 12 stakeswinners were all sold as yearlings for prices ranging from $40,000 to the $1.05 million paid by James Harron for Stronger at the Australian Easter Yearling Sale.
* Arrowfield's reigning Australian champion sire Snitzel has another classy spring contender after his brilliant 3YO filly Sylvia's Mother recorded an impressive win over 1200m at Flemington on Saturday.
Sylvia's Mother (Snitzel x Found The One by Bel Esprit), has now had eight starts for five wins.
* Tony McEvoy had a hand in another black type winner on Saturday when Silvera, a former member of his stable, won the Listed Tattersals Mile at Eagle Farm.
Silvera (High Chaparral x Silver Tiara by Ferocity ) is raced by prolific Queensland owners Graham and Linda Huddy who decided this year to transfer the gelding from McEvoy to Brisbane trainer Tony Gollan.
McEvoy won six races including the Listed Morphettville Guineas with Silvera. He has now won two of his four starts for Gollan, who was quick to thank the grey's former trainer.
Gollan revealed that McEvoy had provided plenty of insight into the quirky Silvera when the gelding arrived at his Eagle Farm stables.
"It was thought a change of scenery might help him and he has now won two from four starts for us," Gollan said.
The 5YO Silvera is a homebred three-quarter brother to the Huddy's multiple G1 winner Shoot Out, being the first foal out of his half-sister Silver Tiara.
The Huddy-owned Silver Tiara is also a half to the G3 winners I'm A Princess (High Chaparral) and Cassandra Shadow (Johannesburg).
Silver Tiara has an unraced 3YO filly by Foxwedge, a 2YO colt by Dream Ahead and a weanling colt by I Am Invincible. She is in foal to American Pharoah.
