Now a Million Pound race, this most popular of Heritage Handicaps has attracted some great stayers.

It's over 2800m and has the maximum field of 22.  Withhold is on top on 6/1 with King's Advice on 13/2.  They have to go into the combos, and if funds are available play the 20/1 shots Max Dynamite and Red Verdon and Prince of Arran 33/1.

The G3 Strensall for the 3yos over 1800m has 6 runners with Wissahickon on 7/4 for Gosden-Dettori and Zaaki 9/4 for Stoute-Moore.

The City of York is now a G2 and is over 1400m with a field of 10.  The lovely Laurens is on 5/2 for Karl Burke and PJ McDonald.  Cape Byron is 5/1 for Roger Varian and Andrea Atzeni and we cannot leave out Gordon Lord Byron – he was second in this last year and is one of the most honest horses in racing so 33/1 is a must.
