Flat rider shows winning form over obstacles.
Tom Queally teamed up with his father, Declan, to score over hurdles at Tramore with Owenacurra Lass .
Queally, who will forever be linked with Flat superstar Frankel, was having his third spin over obstacles since taking out a National Hunt licence.
With rides thin on the ground on the level through the winter, Quelly returned home and rewarded punters at 9-1.
He brought his mount wide into the straight in the Knockenduff Stud Maiden Hurdle and won by a length and three-quarters.
"I did loads of this when I was younger," he said.
"I haven't had the falls that a lot of my colleagues here had, so maybe I've gone out there a bit stupid to it. It's nice to get a winner here.
"We discussed it beforehand and felt it was best to angle out for the better ground. She's a lovely mare and tries hard."
Queally's brother, Declan, assistant trainer to his father, added: "I told him to get his National Hunt licence and we'd give him a couple of spins over Christmas.
"He looked all right there and hasn't lost it yet. I don't think he's ridden here for 17 years."
