Varian filly was a Listed winner in France last time.
Roger Varian is hoping Invitational can book her place on Lingfield's All-Weather Championships Finals Day by claiming a fourth career victory at Wolverhampton.
The Ladbrokes Where The Nation Plays Fillies' Conditions Stakes is the first Fast-Track Qualifier of the new year, with a guaranteed free start in the £150,000 Ladbrokes All-Weather Fillies And Mares Championship on Good Friday up for grabs.
Invitational won at Wolverhampton last April, and was last seen claiming a Listed prize in France in November.
Varian said: "Invitational produced a career best when she won her Listed race in France and has already shown very useful form over the course and distance when winning her novice at Wolverhampton under a penalty.
"This race is a Fast-Track Qualifier for the All-Weather Finals on Good Friday, and should she win – and on ratings she would have an excellent chance – that race would come under consideration."
Invitational is set to face four rivals in Friday's seven-furlong feature at Dunstall Park.
Amy Murphy's Rock On Baileys and the Dean Ivory-trained Lucymai renew rivalry after finishing first and second respectively at Lingfield a fortnight ago.
Lucymai is a seven-time winner on the all-weather and finished fourth in this race 12 months ago.
Ivory said: "Lucymai takes on Rock On Baileys again, but I hope we can reverse the form from Lingfield when they got first run on us.
"Lucymai was fourth in this race last year. But it doesn't look as deep a renewal this time, and she goes there with a good chance.
"I hope she can qualify for All-Weather Finals Day, and we are looking forward to running."
Emily Goldfinch (Phil McEntee) and Second Collection (Tony Carroll) complete the quintet.
