Roger Varian's Sharja Bridge  is among 98 entries for the Unibet Lincoln at Doncaster.

A winner at the meeting last season in the Listed Doncaster Mile, Sharja Bridge failed to score again but did finish second to Beat The Bank in a Group Two at Sandown.

With a rating of 111, the six-year-old sets the standard for the big handicap on March 28 – and Varian has also entered Game Player, Mutasaamy, Fifth Position and Mutamaasik, who has won his last four.

Richard Fahey always targets the first major handicap of the season, and may run the classy Another Touch – who has defied the handicapper in rattling up a hat-trick on the all-weather recently.

Crownthorpe is another possible for the Musley Bank handler – while David O'Meara, another with a good record in the race, may look to Glen Shiel to improve it.

Charlie Appleby won last year's renewal with the heavily-backed Auxerre under James Doyle and this time around has entered Key Victory, a winner at Meydan recently.

Charlie Hills' Royal Ascot winner Afaak, John Gosden's Beatboxer, Alan King's Beringer and Ed Walker's Caradok are others sure to be popular with ante-post punters.
