Via Serendipity is set to warm up for all-weather championship finals day by bidding to follow up his Wolverhampton win back at the same track next month.

Trainer Stuart Williams will choose either the Wulfruna Stakes over seven furlongs or the Lincoln Trial Handicap on March 8 at Dunstall Park for the six-year-old's prep outing before Good Friday.

Via Serendipity enhanced his claims for finals day when getting up to beat Fox Power in a conditions race over a mile in the hands of Hayley Turner at Wolverhampton on Monday.

"He's come out of the race well – I'm very happy with him," said Williams.

"He'll definitely go to finals day. He's got to run once more before then.

"We'll probably run at Wolverhampton again in early March in one of those races – either the seven-furlong Listed race or the mile handicap.

"(It will be) one of those two races on that day – and then go to finals day, for sure."
